He the son of [her grandfather] Guy Dampierre Count Flanders and [her grandmother] Isabelle Luxemburg Countess Flanders. They were second cousin twice removed. He a great x 5 grandson of King William "Conqueror" I of England. She a great x 3 granddaughter of King Henry "Curtmantle" II of England.
In 1320 Blanche Dampierre Queen Consort Norway and Sweden was born to John Dampierre I Marquis Namur [aged 53] and Marie Artois. She a great x 2 granddaughter of King Henry III of England.
In 1325 [her brother] William "Rich" Dampierre I Marquis Namur [aged 1] and [her sister-in-law] Catherine Countess Eu and Guînes [aged 1] were married. She by marriage Marchioness Namur. He the son of [her father] John Dampierre I Marquis Namur [aged 58] and [her mother] Marie Artois.
On 26th January 1330 [her father] John Dampierre I Marquis Namur [aged 63] died. His son [her brother] John [aged 19] succeeded II Marquis Namur.
In 1335 Magnus IV King of Sweden [aged 18] and Blanche Dampierre Queen Consort Norway and Sweden [aged 15] were married. She by marriage Queen Consort Norway and Sweden. She the daughter of John Dampierre I Marquis Namur and Marie Artois.
On 2nd April 1335 John Dampierre II Marquis Namur [aged 24] died unmarried. His brother Guy [aged 23] succeeded II Count Namur.
On 12th March 1336 Guy Dampierre II Count Namur [aged 24] was killed in a tournament. His brother Philip [aged 17] succeeded III Marquis Namur.
In September 1337 Philip Dampierre III Marquis Namur [aged 18] was murdered by the people of Famagusta after he and his companions caused trouble of some kind. He was buried in the Franciscan church in Famagusta. His brother William [aged 13] succeeded Marquis Namur, Count Namur.
On 13th February 1348 [her brother] William "Rich" Dampierre I Marquis Namur [aged 24] and [her sister-in-law] Jeanne Beaumont Count Soissons, Blois, Chatillon and Namur [aged 25] were married. He by marriage Marquis Namur. She the daughter of John Beaumont Count Soissons [aged 60] and Margaret Nesle Countess Soissons [aged 43]. He the son of [her father] John Dampierre I Marquis Namur and [her mother] Marie Artois. They were second cousins. He a great x 2 grandson of King Henry III of England. She a great x 5 granddaughter of King Stephen I England.
In 1363 Blanche Dampierre Queen Consort Norway and Sweden [aged 43] died.
On 1st December 1374 [her former husband] Magnus IV King of Sweden [aged 58] died.
