Theobald IV King Navarre 1201-1253

On 1st July 1199 [his father] Theobald Blois III Count Champagne [aged 20] and [his mother] Blanche Ramirez were married at Chartres [Map]. She the daughter of [his grandfather] Sancho "Wise" King Navarre and [his grandmother] Sancha Ivrea. He the son of Henry Blois I Count Champagne and Marie Capet Countess Champagne. They were third cousin once removed. He a great x 2 grandson of King William "Conqueror" I of England.

On 24th May 1201 [his father] Theobald Blois III Count Champagne [aged 22] died.

On 30th May 1201 Theobald IV King Navarre was born to Theobald Blois III Count Champagne [deceased] and Blanche Ramirez. Theobald IV King Navarre succeeded posthumously IV Count Champagne. He a great x 3 grandson of King William "Conqueror" I of England.

In 1222 Theobald IV King Navarre [aged 20] and Agnes of Beaujeu Countess Savoy were married. She by marriage Countess Champagne.

Around 1233 [his daughter] Eleanor Blois died.

Around 1242 [his daughter] Beatrix Blois Duchess Burgundy was born to Theobald IV King Navarre [aged 40] and [his wife] Margaret Bourbon Queen Consort Navarre [aged 25]. She a great x 4 granddaughter of King William "Conqueror" I of England. She married 1258 her third cousin Hugh IV Duke Burgundy, son of Odo III Duke Burgundy and Alice Vergy Duchess Burgundy.

Around 1244 [his son] Henry I King Navarre was born to Theobald IV King Navarre [aged 42] and [his wife] Margaret Bourbon Queen Consort Navarre [aged 27]. He a great x 4 grandson of King William "Conqueror" I of England. He married 1269 his half third cousin Blanche Capet Queen Navarre, daughter of Robert Capet Count of Artois and Matilda Reginar Countess Saint Pol, and had issue.

On 8th July 1253 Theobald IV King Navarre [aged 52] died. His son Theobald [aged 13] succeeded V Count Champagne, II King Navarre.

On 12th April 1256 [his former wife] Margaret Bourbon Queen Consort Navarre [aged 39] died.
