On 6th April 1734 [his father] Lucius Charles Carey 7th Viscount Falkland [aged 27] and [his mother] Jane Butler were married.
In 1735 Lucius Ferdinand Cary Master of Falkland was born to Lucius Charles Carey 7th Viscount Falkland [aged 28] and Jane Butler.
On 20th December 1751 [his mother] Jane Butler died.
In 1752 Lucius Ferdinand Cary Master of Falkland [aged 17] joined the army as an Ensign in the 2nd Foot Guards.
On 10th October 1752 [his father] Lucius Charles Carey 7th Viscount Falkland [aged 45] and [his step-mother] Sarah Inwen Countess Suffolk were married.
In 1755 Lucius Ferdinand Cary Master of Falkland [aged 20] became captain in the 14th Foot which was stationed in Gibraltar for 8 years.
On 28th November 1757 Lucius Ferdinand Cary Master of Falkland [aged 22] and Anne Leith were married at Gibraltar.
In 1762 Lucius Ferdinand Cary Master of Falkland [aged 27] became major in the 74th Foot.
The Deeds of the Dukes of Normandy

On 27th February 1766 [his son] Henry Thomas Cary 8th Viscount Falkland was born to Lucius Ferdinand Cary Master of Falkland [aged 31] and [his wife] Anne Leith.
In November 1768 [his son] Charles John Cary 9th Viscount Falkland was born to Lucius Ferdinand Cary Master of Falkland [aged 33] and [his wife] Anne Leith. He married 25th August 1802 Christiana Anton Viscountess Falkland and had issue.
On 5th November 1770 [his daughter] Lavinia Matilda Cary was born to Lucius Ferdinand Cary Master of Falkland [aged 35] and [his wife] Anne Leith.
In January 1772 [his daughter] Almeria Augusta Cary was born to Lucius Ferdinand Cary Master of Falkland [aged 37] and [his wife] Anne Leith. She married 28th August 1800 Reverend William Digby, son of William Digby and Charlotte Cox.
In 1774 Lucius Ferdinand Cary Master of Falkland [aged 39] was elected MP Bridport in the 1774 General Election.
In March 1775 [his daughter] Emilia Sophia Cary was born to Lucius Ferdinand Cary Master of Falkland [aged 40] and [his wife] Anne Leith.
On 20th August 1780 Lucius Ferdinand Cary Master of Falkland [aged 45] died in Tobago.
