On 17th January 1832 Wilbraham Egerton 1st Earl Egerton was born to Wilbraham Egerton 1st Baron Egerton Tatton [aged 25] and Charlotte Elizabeth Loftus Baroness Egerton Tatton.

On 15th October 1857 Wilbraham Egerton 1st Earl Egerton [aged 25] and Mary Amherst Baroness Egerton [aged 20] were married. She the daughter of William Amherst 2nd Earl Amherst [aged 52] and Gertrude Percy Countess Amherst [aged 43].

In 1861 [his daughter] Gertrude Egerton Countess Albemarle was born to Wilbraham Egerton 1st Earl Egerton [aged 28] and [his wife] Mary Amherst Baroness Egerton [aged 23]. She married 1881 Arnold Keppel 8th Earl Albermarle, son of William Keppel 7th Earl Albermarle and Sophia Mary MacNab of Dundurn Castle, and had issue.

On 27th August 1862 [his brother-in-law] William Archer Amherst 3rd Earl Amherst [aged 26] and Julia Mann Countess Amherst were married at Linton, Kent [Map]. She the daughter of James Mann 5th Earl Cornwallis. He the son of [his father-in-law] William Amherst 2nd Earl Amherst [aged 56] and [his mother-in-law] Gertrude Percy Countess Amherst [aged 47].

In 1867 [his brother] Alan Egerton 3rd Baron Egerton Tatton [aged 21] and [his sister-in-law] Anna Louisa Taylor Baroness Egerton [aged 16] were married.

In 1881 [his son-in-law] Arnold Keppel 8th Earl Albermarle [aged 22] and Gertrude Egerton Countess Albemarle [aged 20] were married. She the daughter of Wilbraham Egerton 1st Earl Egerton [aged 48] and Mary Amherst Baroness Egerton [aged 43]. He the son of William Keppel 7th Earl Albermarle [aged 48] and Sophia Mary MacNab of Dundurn Castle [aged 48].

The Deeds of the Dukes of Normandy

The Gesta Normannorum Ducum [The Deeds of the Dukes of Normandy] is a landmark medieval chronicle tracing the rise and fall of the Norman dynasty from its early roots through the pivotal events surrounding the Norman Conquest of England. On 26th March 1886 [his father-in-law] William Amherst 2nd Earl Amherst [aged 80] died at Montreal Park, Sevenoaks. His son [his brother-in-law] William [aged 50] succeeded 3rd Earl Amherst, 4th Baron Amherst of Montreal in Kent. Julia Mann Countess Amherst by marriage Countess Amherst.

On 17th December 1892 [his wife] Mary Amherst Baroness Egerton [aged 55] died.

On 8th August 1894 Wilbraham Egerton 1st Earl Egerton [aged 62] and Alice Graham-Montgomery Duchess Buckingham and Chandos [aged 47] were married.

In 1897 Wilbraham Egerton 1st Earl Egerton [aged 64] was created 1st Earl Egerton. [his wife] Alice Graham-Montgomery Duchess Buckingham and Chandos [aged 50] by marriage Countess Egerton.

On 28th March 1902 William Stephen Temple Gore-Langton 4th Earl Temple [aged 54] died at Cairo, Egypt to where he had travelled with his wife [his sister-in-law] Helen for his health. His son Algernon [aged 30] succeeded 5th Earl Temple of Stowe.

On 16th March 1909 Wilbraham Egerton 1st Earl Egerton [aged 77] died. Earl Egerton extinct. His brother Alan [aged 63] succeeded 3rd Baron Egerton Tatton. Anna Louisa Taylor Baroness Egerton [aged 58] by marriage Baroness Egerton Tatton.

In 1931 [his former wife] Alice Graham-Montgomery Duchess Buckingham and Chandos [aged 84] died.
