On 29th June 1887 Francis Stapleton-Cotton 4th Viscount Combermere was born to Robert Wellington Stapleton-Cotton 3rd Viscount Combermere [aged 42] and Isabel Marion Chetwynd Viscountess Combermere.
On 1st December 1891 [his grandfather] Wellington Stapleton-Cotton 2nd Viscount Combermere [aged 73] died. His son [his father] Robert [aged 46] succeeded 3rd Viscount Combermere, 3rd Baron Combermere, 8th Baronet Cotton of Combermere in Cheshire. [his mother] Isabel Marion Chetwynd Viscountess Combermere by marriage Viscountess Combermere.
In 1898 [his father] Robert Wellington Stapleton-Cotton 3rd Viscount Combermere [aged 53] died. His son Francis [aged 10] succeeded 4th Viscount Combermere, 4th Baron Combermere, 9th Baronet Cotton of Combermere in Cheshire. [his future wife] Louisa Agnew [aged 6] by marriage Viscountess Combermere.
On 30th October 1917 Francis Stapleton-Cotton 4th Viscount Combermere [aged 30] and Louisa Hazel Agnew Viscountess Combermere [aged 26] were married.
In 1926 Francis Stapleton-Cotton 4th Viscount Combermere [aged 38] and Louisa Hazel Agnew Viscountess Combermere [aged 34] were divorced.
On 1st January 1927 Francis Stapleton-Cotton 4th Viscount Combermere [aged 39] and Constance Marie Katherine Williams-Drummond [aged 33] were married. She a first cousin of his first wife Louisa Hazel Agnew Viscountess Combermere [aged 35].
On 8th August 1929 [his son] Michael Wellington Stapleton-Cotton 5th Viscount Combermere was born to Francis Stapleton-Cotton 4th Viscount Combermere [aged 42] and [his wife] Constance Marie Katherine Williams-Drummond [aged 36].
On 17th September 1930 [his mother] Isabel Marion Chetwynd Viscountess Combermere died.
