On 03 Sep 1513 [her grandfather] Gerald Fitzgerald 8th Earl of Kildare (age 57) died. His son [her father] Gerald Fitzgerald 9th Earl of Kildare (age 26) succeeded 9th Earl Kildare.

In Jun 1517 Thomas Clinton 8th Baron Clinton (age 27) died of sweating sickness. His son [her future husband] Edward Clinton 1st Earl Lincoln (age 5) succeeded 9th Baron Clinton.

Around 1522 [her father] Gerald Fitzgerald 9th Earl of Kildare (age 35) and [her mother] Elizabeth Grey Countess Kildare (age 25) were married. She by marriage Countess Kildare. She the daughter of Thomas Grey 1st Marquess Dorset and Cecily Bonville Marchioness Dorset (age 61). He the son of Gerald Fitzgerald 8th Earl of Kildare and Alice Fitzeustace Countess Kildare. In 1527 Elizabeth "The Fair Geraldine" Fitzgerald Countess Lincoln was born to Gerald Fitzgerald 9th Earl of Kildare (age 40) and Elizabeth Grey Countess Kildare (age 30).

On 12 Dec 1534, some sources say the 13th, [her father] Gerald Fitzgerald 9th Earl of Kildare (age 47) died whilst imprisoned at the Tower of London [Map]. He was buried at the St Peter ad Vincula Church, Tower of London [Map]. His son [her half-brother] Thomas "Silken" Fitzgerald 10th Earl of Kildare (age 21) succeeded 10th Earl Kildare. His son, and five of his brothers were executed just over two years later - see Execution of the Fitzgeralds.

Before 1536 [her future husband] Edward Clinton 1st Earl Lincoln (age 24) and Elizabeth "Bessie" Blount Baroness Clinton and Tailboys (age 37) were married. She by marriage Baroness Clinton. The date based on the birth of their first child [her future step-daughter] Bridget Clinton.

After 31 Mar 1540 Anthony Browne (age 40) and Elizabeth "The Fair Geraldine" Fitzgerald Countess Lincoln (age 13) were married. The difference in their ages was 27 years. In 1550 [her former sister-in-law] Margaret Fitzwilliam (age 55) died.

Before 22 Jul 1552 [her former step-son] Anthony Browne 1st Viscount Montagu (age 23) and Jane Radclyffe were married. She the daughter of Robert Radclyffe 1st Earl of Sussex and Margaret Stanley Countess Sussex. They were third cousin once removed. He a great x 5 grandson of King Edward III of England.

On 01 Oct 1552 Edward Clinton 1st Earl Lincoln (age 40) and Elizabeth "The Fair Geraldine" Fitzgerald Countess Lincoln (age 25) were married. Around 1556 [her step-son] Henry Clinton 2nd Earl Lincoln (age 14) and Catherine Hastings Countess Lincoln (age 13) were married. She the daughter of Francis Hastings 2nd Earl Huntingdon (age 42) and Catherine Pole Countess Huntingdon (age 45). He the son of Edward Clinton 1st Earl Lincoln (age 44) and Ursula Stourton Baroness Clinton.

In or before 1557 Thomas Roper (age 25) and [her former step-daughter] Lucy Browne (age 18) were married. She a great x 5 granddaughter of King Edward III of England.

On 01 Jan 1562 the New Years Gift Giving was held. Those who gave gifts provide an interesting who's who of the Elizabethan Court soon after Elizabeth I's Coronation. Queen Elizabeth (age 28) was present since a number are described as "With the Qene her Majestie."

Lady Margaret Strange married Henry Stanley Lord Strange (age 30) on 07 Feb 1555. In 1561 he had not succeeded to Earldom of Derby and was known by the courtesy title Lord Strange. She is listed first since she was one of the few remaining direct descendants of Henry VII, being a great-granddaughter by his daughter Mary Tudor. Margaret Clifford (age 22) was first in line to succeed in 1568 but died in 1596 before Elizabeth I.
