Deeds of King Henry V

Henrici Quinti, Angliæ Regis, Gesta, is a first-hand account of the Agincourt Campaign, and subsequent events to his death in 1422. The author of the first part was a Chaplain in King Henry's retinue who was present from King Henry's departure at Southampton in 1415, at the siege of Harfleur, the battle of Agincourt, and the celebrations on King Henry's return to London. The second part, by another writer, relates the events that took place including the negotiations at Troye, Henry's marriage and his death in 1422.

Around 1630 Henry Pierrepont 1st Marquess Dorchester [aged 23] and [his sister-in-law] Cecilia Bayning [aged 16] were married. He the son of [his father] Robert Pierrepont 1st Earl Kingston [aged 45] and [his mother] Gertrude Talbot Baroness Pierrepont Holme Pierrepoint [aged 49]. They were sixth cousins.

In 1635 Francis Pierrepont [aged 22] and Elizabeth Bray [aged 20] were married. He the son of Robert Pierrepont 1st Earl Kingston [aged 50] and Gertrude Talbot Baroness Pierrepont Holme Pierrepoint [aged 54].

On 30th August 1636 Robert Pierrepont was born to Francis Pierrepont [aged 23]. He married after 27th March 1661 Anne Murray, daughter of Henry Murray of Berkhampstead and Anne Bayning Viscountess Bayning, and had issue.

In April 1640 Francis Pierrepont [aged 27] was elected MP East Retford during the Short Parliament.

On 16th July 1643 Francis Willoughby 5th Baron Willoughby of Parham launched a night attack on Gainsborough [Map] and captured it and Robert Pierrepont 1st Earl Kingston [aged 58].

On 25th July 1643 Robert Pierrepont 1st Earl Kingston was accidentally shot and killed while a prisoner on board a vessel bound for Hull. His son Henry [aged 37] succeeded 2nd Earl Kingston upon Hull, 2nd Viscount Newark, 2nd Baron Pierrepont of Holme Pierrepoint. [his future sister-in-law] Catherine Stanley Marchioness Dorchester by marriage Countess Kingston upon Hull.

In 1645 Francis Pierrepont [aged 32] was elected MP Nottingham during the Long Parliament.

On 25th March 1645 Henry Pierrepont 1st Marquess Dorchester [aged 39] was created 1st Marquess Dorchester. [his future sister-in-law] Catherine Stanley Marchioness Dorchester by marriage Marchioness Dorchester.

In September 1652 Henry Pierrepont 1st Marquess Dorchester [aged 46] and [his sister-in-law] Catherine Stanley Marchioness Dorchester were married. She the daughter of James Stanley 7th Earl of Derby and Charlotte Thouars Countess Derby [aged 52]. He the son of [his father] Robert Pierrepont 1st Earl Kingston and [his mother] Gertrude Talbot Baroness Pierrepont Holme Pierrepoint. They were fifth cousin once removed. She a great x 4 granddaughter of King Henry VII of England and Ireland.

On 30th January 1659 Francis Pierrepont [aged 46] died.

On 15th January 1663 John Reade 1st Baronet [aged 47] and "Lady Alisimon" were married at St Nicholas Acons Church. She the widow of Francis Pierrepont.
