Before 20th February 1419 [his mother] Elizabeth Burdett [aged 35] died.
On 20th February 1419 [his father] Humphrey Stafford [aged 49] died.
In 1423 Humphrey Stafford [aged 23] was elected MP Worcestershire.
Around 2nd January 1424 Humphrey Stafford [aged 24] and Eleanor Aylesbury [aged 18] were married.
Around 1426 [his son] Humphrey Stafford was born to Humphrey Stafford [aged 26] and [his wife] Eleanor Aylesbury [aged 20] at Grafton, Worcestershire. He married 1452 Catherine Fray, daughter of John Fray and Agnes Danvers Baroness Wenlock, and had issue.
In 1426 Humphrey Stafford [aged 26] was elected MP Worcestershire.
In 1427 Humphrey Stafford [aged 27] was elected MP Staffordshire.
Around 1435 [his daughter] Elizabeth Stafford was born to Humphrey Stafford [aged 35] and [his wife] Eleanor Aylesbury [aged 29] at Beauchamp, Worcestershire. She married 27th January 1447 her half fourth cousin Richard Beauchamp 2nd Baron Beauchamp Powick, son of John Beauchamp 1st Baron Beauchamp Powick and Margaret Ferrers Baroness Beauchamp Powick, and had issue.
William of Worcester's Chronicle of England
William of Worcester, born around 1415, and died around 1482 was secretary to John Fastolf, the renowned soldier of the Hundred Years War, during which time he collected documents, letters, and wrote a record of events. Following their return to England in 1440 William was witness to major events. Twice in his chronicle he uses the first person: 1. when writing about the murder of Thomas, 7th Baron Scales, in 1460, he writes '… and I saw him lying naked in the cemetery near the porch of the church of St. Mary Overie in Southwark …' and 2. describing King Edward IV's entry into London in 1461 he writes '… proclaimed that all the people themselves were to recognize and acknowledge Edward as king. I was present and heard this, and immediately went down with them into the city'. William’s Chronicle is rich in detail. It is the source of much information about the Wars of the Roses, including the term 'Diabolical Marriage' to describe the marriage of Queen Elizabeth Woodville’s brother John’s marriage to Katherine, Dowager Duchess of Norfolk, he aged twenty, she sixty-five or more, and the story about a paper crown being placed in mockery on the severed head of Richard, 3rd Duke of York.

In 1447 [his daughter] Anne Stafford Baroness Clinton was born to Humphrey Stafford [aged 47]. She married in or before 1470 her fourth cousin once removed John Clinton 6th Baron Clinton, son of John Clinton 5th Baron Clinton and Joan Ferrers Baroness Clinton, and had issue.
In 1447 Humphrey Stafford [aged 47] was elected MP Worcestershire.
On 27th January 1447 [his son-in-law] Richard Beauchamp 2nd Baron Beauchamp Powick [aged 12] and [his daughter] Elizabeth Stafford [aged 12] were married at Beauchamp's Court, Alcester. They were half fourth cousins.
In 1448 [his son] Richard Stafford was killed.
In 1449 Humphrey Stafford [aged 49] was elected MP Worcestershire.
Chronicle of Gregory. [7th June 1450] And yn the fowarde, as they wolde have folowyde the captayne, was slayn Syr Umfray Stafforde [aged 50] and Wylliam Stafford [aged 30], squyer, one the mannylste man of alle this realme of Engelonde, whythe many moo othyr of mene personys at Sevenocke [Map], in Kentt, in her oute ragyng fro her oste of our sovereign lordys the kyng, Harry the vjte. And the kyng [aged 28] loggyd that nyght at Grenewyche [Map], and son aftyr every lord whythe his retynewe rood home in to her contraye.

In 1478 [his former wife] Eleanor Aylesbury [aged 72] died.

Eleanor Aylesbury: Around 1406 she was born to Thomas Aylesbury. Around 2nd January 1424 Humphrey Stafford and she were married. In 1478 she died.
