In 1555 [his father] George I of Württemberg-Mömpelgard [aged 56] and [his mother] Barbara of Hesse [aged 18] were married. The difference in their ages was 38 years. She the daughter of [his grandfather] Landgrave Philip I of Hesse [aged 50] and [his grandmother] Christine of Saxony. They were fourth cousin twice removed.
On 19th August 1557 Frederick I Duke Württemberg was born to George I of Württemberg-Mömpelgard [aged 59] and Barbara of Hesse [aged 21].
On 17th July 1558 [his father] George I of Württemberg-Mömpelgard [aged 60] died.
In or before 1582 Frederick I Duke Württemberg [aged 24] and Sibylla of Anhalt [aged 17] were married.
On 5th May 1582 [his son] John Frederick Duke of Württemberg was born to Frederick I Duke Württemberg [aged 24] and [his wife] Sibylla of Anhalt [aged 17].
On 10th April 1584 [his daughter] Sibylla Elisabeth of Württemberg was born to Frederick I Duke Württemberg [aged 26] and [his wife] Sibylla of Anhalt [aged 19]. She married 1604 her half third cousin once removed John George Elector Saxony.
In 1593 Frederick I Duke Württemberg [aged 35] succeeded I Duke Württemberg.
In 1597 Frederick I Duke Württemberg [aged 39] was appointed 383rd Knight of the Garter by Queen Elizabeth I of England and Ireland [aged 63].
On 8th June 1597 [his mother] Barbara of Hesse [aged 61] died.

In 1536, two weeks after the execution of Anne Boleyn, her brother George and four others, Lancelot du Carle, wrote an extraordinary letter that described Anne's life, and her trial and execution, to which he was a witness. She the daughter of Frederick I Duke Württemberg [aged 46] and Sibylla of Anhalt [aged 39]. He the son of Christian Wettin I Elector Saxony and Sophie of Brandenburg [aged 35]. They were half third cousin once removed.
In May 1604 Robert Spencer 1st Baron Spencer [aged 34] and William Dethick [aged 62] travelled to Frederick I Duke Württemberg [aged 46] to present jewels including two garters with diamonds and rubies, and two St Georges with diamonds and rubies, and a gold chain or collar, made by the London goldsmiths, John Spilman and William Herrick.
On 20th January 1606 [his daughter] Sibylla Elisabeth of Württemberg [aged 21] died from childbirth after the birth of a stillborn son.
On 29th January 1608 Frederick I Duke Württemberg [aged 50] died.
On 26th October 1614 [his former wife] Sibylla of Anhalt [aged 50] died.
