Antoine Orléans Duke Montpensier [aged 22] and Infanta Luisa Fernanda Duchess of Montpensier [aged 14] were married. She the daughter of Ferdinand VII King Spain. He the son of King Louis Philippe I of France [aged 73]. They were fifth cousins.
On 24th June 1860 Maria de las Mercedes Queen Consort Spain was born to Antoine Orléans Duke Montpensier [aged 35] and Infanta Luisa Fernanda Duchess of Montpensier [aged 28].
In 1874 [her future husband] Alfonso XII King Spain [aged 16] succeeded XII King Spain.

She the daughter of Antoine Orléans Duke Montpensier [aged 53] and Infanta Luisa Fernanda Duchess of Montpensier [aged 45]. He the son of Francisco de Asís King Consort Spain [aged 55] and Isabella II Queen Spain [aged 47]. They were half first cousins.
On 26th June 1878 Maria de las Mercedes Queen Consort Spain [aged 18] died of typhoid.
On 29th November 1879 [her former husband] Alfonso XII King Spain [aged 22] and Maria Christina of Austria Queen Consort Spain [aged 21] were married at Madrid [Map]. She by marriage Queen Consort Spain. He the son of [her former father-in-law] Francisco de Asís King Consort Spain [aged 57] and [her aunt] Isabella II Queen Spain [aged 49]. They were third cousins. She a great x 4 granddaughter of King George II of Great Britain and Ireland.
On 25th November 1885 [her former husband] Alfonso XII King Spain [aged 27] died. On 17th May 1886 His son Alfonso succeeded posthumously XIII King Spain when he was born some seven months later.
