On 3rd April 1893 Princess Maud Duff Countess Southesk was born to Alexander Duff 1st Duke Fife [aged 43] and Louise Windsor Duchess Fife [aged 26]. She a granddaughter of King Edward VII of the United Kingdom.

On 15th October 1913 [her brother-in-law] Prince Arthur of Connaught [aged 30] and [her sister] Princess Alexandra Duff Duchess Fife [aged 22] were married at Chapel Royal, St James's Palace. He the son of Charles Noel Carnegie 10th Earl of Southesk [aged 69] and Ethel Mary Elizabeth Bannerman Countess Southesk [aged 55].

Charles Alexander Carnegie 11th Earl of Southesk: In 1893 he was born to Charles Noel Carnegie 10th Earl of Southesk and Ethel Mary Elizabeth Bannerman Countess Southesk. On 12th November 1923 Charles Alexander Carnegie 11th Earl of Southesk and Princess Maud Duff Countess Southesk were married at Royal Military Chapel, Wellington Barracks. She the daughter of Alexander Duff 1st Duke Fife and Louise Windsor Duchess Fife. He the son of Charles Noel Carnegie 10th Earl of Southesk and Ethel Mary Elizabeth Bannerman Countess Southesk. On 10th November 1941 Charles Noel Carnegie 10th Earl of Southesk died. His son Charles succeeded 11th Earl Southesk, 7th Baronet Carnegie of Pittarrow in Kincardine. Princess Maud Duff Countess Southesk by marriage Countess Southesk. In 1992 Charles Alexander Carnegie 11th Earl of Southesk died.
On 23rd September 1929 [her son] James George Alexander Bannerman Carnegie 3rd Duke of Fife was born to [her husband] Charles Alexander Carnegie 11th Earl of Southesk [aged 36] and Princess Maud Duff Countess Southesk [aged 36]. He a great grandson of King Edward VII of the United Kingdom.
On 4th January 1931 [her mother] Louise Windsor Duchess Fife [aged 63] died.
On 10th November 1941 [her father-in-law] Charles Noel Carnegie 10th Earl of Southesk [aged 87] died. His son [her husband] Charles [aged 48] succeeded 11th Earl Southesk, 7th Baronet Carnegie of Pittarrow in Kincardine. Princess Maud Duff Countess Southesk [aged 48] by marriage Countess Southesk.
On 14th December 1945 Princess Maud Duff Countess Southesk [aged 52] died.

In 1536, two weeks after the execution of Anne Boleyn, her brother George and four others, Lancelot du Carle, wrote an extraordinary letter that described Anne's life, and her trial and execution, to which he was a witness.
