Frederica Schomberg Countess Holderness and Fitzwalter 1687-1751

On 4th January 1682 [her father] Meinhart Schomberg 3rd Duke Schomberg [aged 40] and [her mother] Karoline von der Pfalz [aged 22] were married. He the son of [her grandfather] Frederick Schomberg 1st Duke Schomberg [aged 66].

In 1687 Frederica Schomberg Countess Holderness and Fitzwalter was born to Meinhart Schomberg 3rd Duke Schomberg [aged 45] and Karoline von der Pfalz [aged 27]. She a great x 2 granddaughter of King James I of England and Ireland and VI of Scotland.

On 13th December 1692 Conyers Darcy 2nd Earl Holderness [aged 70] died. His grandson [her future husband] Robert [aged 11] succeeded 3rd Earl Holderness, 10th Baron Darcy of Knayth, 7th Baron Conyers, 4th Baron Darcy of Meinhill.

On 17th October 1693 [her uncle] Charles Schomberg 2nd Duke Schomberg [aged 48] died at Turin. His brother [her father] Meinhart [aged 52] succeeded 3rd Duke Schomberg.

On 28th June 1696 [her mother] Karoline von der Pfalz [aged 36] died.

On 26th May 1715 Robert Darcy 3rd Earl Holderness [aged 33] and Frederica Schomberg Countess Holderness and Fitzwalter [aged 28] were married. She by marriage Countess Holderness. She the daughter of Meinhart Schomberg 3rd Duke Schomberg [aged 73] and Karoline von der Pfalz.

On 17th May 1718 [her son] Robert Darcy 4th Earl Holderness was born to [her husband] Robert Darcy 3rd Earl Holderness [aged 36] and Frederica Schomberg Countess Holderness and Fitzwalter [aged 31]. He a great x 3 grandson of King James I of England and Ireland and VI of Scotland.

On 16th July 1719 [her father] Meinhart Schomberg 3rd Duke Schomberg [aged 78] died. Duke Schomberg extinct.

On 20th January 1721 [her husband] Robert Darcy 3rd Earl Holderness [aged 39] died. His son Robert [aged 2] succeeded 4th Earl Holderness, 11th Baron Darcy of Knayth, 8th Baron Conyers, 5th Baron Darcy of Meinhill.

On 18th June 1724 Benjamin Mildmay 1st Earl Fitzwalter [aged 51] and Frederica Schomberg Countess Holderness and Fitzwalter [aged 37] were married. She the daughter of Meinhart Schomberg 3rd Duke Schomberg and Karoline von der Pfalz.

In 1728 [her brother-in-law] Charles Mildmay 18th Baron Fitzwalter [aged 58] died without issue. His brother [her husband] Benjamin [aged 55] succeeded 19th Baron Fitzwalter. Frederica Schomberg Countess Holderness and Fitzwalter [aged 41] by marriage Baroness Fitzwalter.

In 1730 [her husband] Benjamin Mildmay 1st Earl Fitzwalter [aged 57] was created 1st Earl Fitzwalter, 1st Viscount Harwich Essex. Frederica Schomberg Countess Holderness and Fitzwalter [aged 43] by marriage Countess Fitzwalter.

On 7th November 1735 [her son-in-law] William Henry Kerr 4th Marquess Lothian [aged 25] and Caroline Darcy Marchioness Lothian were married. She the daughter of Robert Darcy 3rd Earl Holderness and Frederica Schomberg Countess Holderness and Fitzwalter [aged 48]. He the son of William Kerr 3rd Marquess Lothian [aged 45]. They were fourth cousin once removed. She a great x 3 granddaughter of King James I of England and Ireland and VI of Scotland.

On 7th August 1751 Frederica Schomberg Countess Holderness and Fitzwalter [aged 64] died.

On 29th February 1756 [her former husband] Benjamin Mildmay 1st Earl Fitzwalter [aged 83] died. Earl Fitzwalter, Viscount Harwich Essex extinct. Baron Fitzwalter abeyant between the issue of his aunt Mary Mildmay. The abeyance was terminated 30 Sep 1924 after nearly 169 years in favour of one of the co-heirs Henry FitzWalter Plumptre 20th Baron FitzWalter.

[her daughter] Caroline Darcy Marchioness Lothian was born to Robert Darcy 3rd Earl Holderness and Frederica Schomberg Countess Holderness and Fitzwalter. She a great x 3 granddaughter of King James I of England and Ireland and VI of Scotland. She married 7th November 1735 her fourth cousin once removed William Henry Kerr 4th Marquess Lothian, son of William Kerr 3rd Marquess Lothian, and had issue.
