On 27th May 1864 Fiennes Cornwallis 1st Baron Cornwallis was born to Fiennes Wykeham-Martin Cornwallis [aged 32] and Harriet Elizabeth Mott at Chacombe Priory, Banbury [Map].
On 24th April 1867 [his father] Fiennes Wykeham-Martin Cornwallis [aged 35] died in a hunting accident. His son Fiennes Cornwallis 1st Baron Cornwallis [aged 2] inherited Boughton aka Bocton Place, Kent [Map].
In 1886 Fiennes Cornwallis 1st Baron Cornwallis [aged 21] and Mabel Leigh Baroness Cornwallis were married. They had three sons and four daughters
In 1888 Fiennes Cornwallis 1st Baron Cornwallis [aged 23] was elected MP Maidstone which seat he held until 1900.

On 4th March 1892 [his son] Wykeham Cornwallis 2nd Baron Cornwallis was born to Fiennes Cornwallis 1st Baron Cornwallis [aged 27] and [his wife] Mabel Leigh Baroness Cornwallis. He married 30th January 1917 Cecily Etha Mary Walker, daughter of James Heron Walker 3rd Baronet, and had issue.
In 1896 [his daughter] Yvonne Cornwallis was born to Fiennes Cornwallis 1st Baron Cornwallis [aged 31] and [his wife] Mabel Leigh Baroness Cornwallis. She married Henry Mitford Amherst Cecil, son of William Cecil and Mary Rothes Tyssen-Amherst 2nd Baroness Amherst.
In 1910 Fiennes Cornwallis 1st Baron Cornwallis [aged 45] was appointed Chairman of Kent County Council which office he held until 1930.
On 30th January 1917 [his son] Wykeham Cornwallis 2nd Baron Cornwallis [aged 24] and [his daughter-in-law] Cecily Etha Mary Walker [aged 23] were married at St Margaret's Church, Westminster [Map]. They had two children.
In May 1921 [his son] Fiennes Wykeham Mann Cornwallis [aged 30] was killed in Ireland during the Irish War of Independence.

In 1927 Fiennes Cornwallis 1st Baron Cornwallis [aged 62] was created 1st Baron Cornwallis of Linton in Kent. [his wife] Mabel Leigh Baroness Cornwallis by marriage Baroness Cornwallis of Linton in Kent.
On 11th March 1933 Fiennes Cornwallis 1st Baron Cornwallis [aged 68] was appointed Honourary Colonel of the Thames and Medway Heavy Brigade, Royal Artillery.
On 26th September 1935 Fiennes Cornwallis 1st Baron Cornwallis [aged 71] died. His son Wykeham [aged 43] succeeded 2nd Baron Cornwallis of Linton in Kent.
In 1957 [his former wife] Mabel Leigh Baroness Cornwallis died.
