Francis Willoughby 3rd Baron Middleton 1726-1774

In 1723 [his father] Francis Willoughby 2nd Baron Middleton [aged 30] and [his mother] Mary Edwards Baroness Middleton were married.

On 25th January 1726 Francis Willoughby 3rd Baron Middleton was born to Francis Willoughby 2nd Baron Middleton [aged 33] and Mary Edwards Baroness Middleton.

In 1729 [his grandfather] Thomas Willoughby 1st Baron Middleton [aged 56] died. His son [his father] Francis [aged 36] succeeded 2nd Baron Middleton, 3rd Baronet Willoughby of Wollaton. [his mother] Mary Edwards Baroness Middleton by marriage Baroness Middleton.

Around 1738 Francis Willoughby 3rd Baron Middleton [aged 11] educated at Bury St Edmund's School, Suffolk.

In 1744 Francis Willoughby 3rd Baron Middleton [aged 17] educated at Jesus College, Cambridge University.

On 31st July 1758 [his father] Francis Willoughby 2nd Baron Middleton [aged 65] died. His son Francis [aged 32] succeeded 3rd Baron Middleton, 4th Baronet Willoughby of Wollaton.

In 1770 [his brother] Thomas Willoughby 4th Baron Middleton [aged 41] and [his sister-in-law] Georgina Chadwick Baroness Middleton were married.

On 16th December 1774 Francis Willoughby 3rd Baron Middleton [aged 48] died. His brother Thomas [aged 45] succeeded 4th Baron Middleton, 5th Baronet Willoughby of Wollaton. Georgina Chadwick Baroness Middleton by marriage Baroness Middleton.

Before 4th August 1799. Monument to Francis Willoughby 3rd Baron Middleton, [his brother] Thomas Willoughby 4th Baron Middleton, Henry Willoughby 5th Baron Middleton [aged 72] and Dorothy Cartright Baroness Middleton in St Leonard's Church, Wollaton [Map] sculpted by John "The Elder" Bacon [aged 58]. The names of Henry Willoughby 5th Baron Middleton and Dorothy Cartright Baroness Middleton were either added later, or the monument completed by the workshop of John "The Elder" Bacon after his death on 4th August 1799.

Dorothy Cartright Baroness Middleton: In 1756 Henry Willoughby 5th Baron Middleton and she were married. On 2nd November 1781 Thomas Willoughby 4th Baron Middleton died. His first cousin Henry succeeded 5th Baron Middleton, 6th Baronet Willoughby of Wollaton. She by marriage Baroness Middleton. On 18th September 1808 she died.
