On 24th December 1814 Henry Brand 1st Viscount Hampden was born to General Henry Otway Trevor 21st Baron Dacre 20th Baron Multon [aged 37] and Pyne Crosbie Lady of the Bedchamber [aged 34]. He a great x 4 grandson of King Charles II of England Scotland and Ireland.
In 1837 [his brother] Thomas Trevor 22nd Baron Dacre 21st Baron Multon [aged 28] and [his sister-in-law] Susan Sophia Cavendish Baroness Dacre [aged 19] were married.
On 16th April 1838 Henry Brand 1st Viscount Hampden [aged 23] and Eliza Ellice [aged 20] were married.
In 1840 [his daughter] Alice Brand Lady Farquhar was born to Henry Brand 1st Viscount Hampden [aged 25] and [his wife] Eliza Ellice [aged 22]. She married 8th July 1862 her half fourth cousin Henry Farquhar 4th Baronet, son of Walter Rockliffe Farquhar 3rd Baronet and Mary Octavia Somerset Lady Farquhar.
On 2nd May 1841 [his son] Henry Brand 2nd Viscount Hampden was born to Henry Brand 1st Viscount Hampden [aged 26] and [his wife] Eliza Ellice [aged 23]. He married 14th April 1868 Susan Henrietta Cavendish Viscountess Hampden and had issue.
On 23rd January 1844 [his mother] Pyne Crosbie Lady of the Bedchamber [aged 64] died.
On 21st March 1851 [his uncle] Thomas Brand 20th Baron Dacre 19th Baron Multon [aged 76] died without issue. His brother [his father] Henry [aged 73] succeeded 21st Baron Dacre Gilsland, 20th Baron Multon of Gilsland.
On 2nd June 1853 [his father] General Henry Otway Trevor 21st Baron Dacre 20th Baron Multon [aged 75] died. His son [his brother] Thomas [aged 44] succeeded 22nd Baron Dacre Gilsland, 21st Baron Multon of Gilsland.
On 8th July 1862 [his son-in-law] Henry Farquhar 4th Baronet [aged 23] and [his daughter] Alice Brand Lady Farquhar [aged 22] were married. They were half fourth cousins. She a great x 5 granddaughter of King Charles II of England Scotland and Ireland.

Jean de Waurin was a French Chronicler, from the Artois region, who was born around 1400, and died around 1474. Waurin’s Chronicle of England, Volume 6, covering the period 1450 to 1471, from which we have selected and translated Chapters relating to the Wars of the Roses, provides a vivid, original, contemporary description of key events some of which he witnessed first-hand, some of which he was told by the key people involved with whom Waurin had a personal relationship.

On 8th March 1899 [his former wife] Eliza Ellice [aged 81] died at Pelham House Lewes East Sussex.
