He married before 25th December 1660 his fourth cousin Mary Capell Duchess Beaufort, daughter of Arthur Capell 1st Baron Capell Hadham and Elizabeth Morrison Baroness Capell Hadham, and had issue.
Before 1635 Elizabeth Somerset Marchioness Powis was born to Edward Somerset 2nd Marquess Worcester [aged 32] and Elizabeth Dormer at Raglan Castle [Map]. She married July 1654 her fourth cousin William Herbert 1st Marquess Powis, son of Percy Herbert 2nd Baron Powis and Elizabeth Craven Baroness Herbert, and had issue.
