Around 1710 [his mother] Mary Littleton [aged 55] died.
On 24th January 1724 [his father] Henry Gough [aged 75] died. He was buried at Bushbury.
On 9th February 1728 Henry Gough 1st Baronet [aged 19] was created 1st Baronet Gough of Edgbaston in Warwickshire.
Before 22nd June 1740 Henry Gough 1st Baronet [aged 32] and Catherine Harpur Lady Gough were married. Catherine Harpur Lady Gough by marriage Lady Gough-Calthorpe of Edgbaston in Warwickshire.
On 22nd June 1740 [his wife] Catherine Harpur Lady Gough died.
On 2nd July 1741 Henry Gough 1st Baronet [aged 33] and Barbara Calthorpe Lady Gough [aged 25] were married. Barbara Calthorpe Lady Gough by marriage Lady Gough-Calthorpe of Edgbaston in Warwickshire.
In 1746 [his daughter] Barbara Gough was born to Henry Gough 1st Baronet [aged 37] and [his wife] Barbara Calthorpe Lady Gough [aged 30]. She married Isaac Spooner of Elmdon and had issue.
On 1st January 1749 [his son] Henry Gough-Calthorpe 1st Baron Calthorpe was born to Henry Gough 1st Baronet [aged 40] and [his wife] Barbara Calthorpe Lady Gough [aged 33]. He married 1st May 1783 Frances Carpenter Baroness Calthorpe and had issue.
On 23rd July 1768 [his son-in-law] John Palmer 5th Baronet [aged 33] and Charlotte Gough Lady Palmer were married. They had five sons and two daughters. She by marriage Lady Palmer of Carlton in Northampton.

In 1788 [his former brother-in-law] Henry Calthorpe [aged 71] died. His sister [his former wife] Barbara Calthorpe Lady Gough and her husband Henry Gough 1st Baronet inherited Elvetham Hall, Hampshire [Map].
[his daughter] Charlotte Gough Lady Palmer was born to Henry Gough 1st Baronet and Barbara Calthorpe Lady Gough. She married 23rd July 1768 John Palmer 5th Baronet, son of Thomas Palmer 4th Baronet and Jemima Harpur, and had issue.
