On 30th May 1615 Richard Neville was born to Henry Neville [aged 27] and Elizabeth Smythe [aged 29] at Billingbear House, Waltham St Lawrence.
On 29th June 1629 [his father] Henry Neville [aged 41] died.

On 20th September 1643 the First Battle of Newbury was fought at Newbury, Berkshire [Map] with King Charles I of England, Scotland and Ireland [aged 42] commanding the Royalist army and Robert Devereux 3rd Earl Essex [aged 52] commanding the victorious Parliamentary army. For King Charles I of England, Scotland and Ireland John Byron 1st Baron Byron [aged 44] fought with distinction.
Henry Bertie was killed.
Robert Dormer 1st Earl Carnarvon [aged 33] was killed. His son Charles [aged 10] succeeded 2nd Earl Carnarvon, 3rd Baron Dormer of Wyng in Buckinghamshire, 3rd Baronet Dormer of Wyng in Buckinghamshire.
William Villiers 2nd Viscount Grandison [aged 29] was killed. His brother John succeeded 3rd Viscount Grandison.
Edward Villiers [aged 23] fought.
Lucius Carey 2nd Viscount Falkland [aged 33] was killed. His son Lucius [aged 11] succeeded 3rd Viscount Falkland.
Richard Neville [aged 28] served under the Earl Carnarvon. Carnarvon was killed and Neville took up the command as a Colonel of Horse.
Major General Charles Fleetwood [aged 25] was wounded.
On 12th October 1655 [his son] Richard Neville was born to Richard Neville [aged 40]. He married 1676 Catherine Grey, daughter of Ralph Grey 2nd Baron Grey Werke and Catherine Anna Ford, and had issue.
In 1660 Richard Neville [aged 44] was appointed Deputy Lieutenant Berkshire which post he held until his death.
In 1667 King Chales II [aged 36], his brother James [aged 33], Prince Rupert [aged 47] and James Scott 1st Duke Monmouth 1st Duke Buccleuch [aged 17] dined with Richard Neville [aged 51] at Billingbear House, Waltham St Lawrence.
In September 1669 [his mother] Elizabeth Smythe [aged 83] died.
In 1670 Richard Neville [aged 54] was elected Knigh of the Shire: Berkshire.
Around 1676 [his son] Richard Neville [aged 20] and [his daughter-in-law] Catherine Grey [aged 22] were married.
