Maud Green 1492-1531

In or before 1489 [her father] Thomas Green [aged 27] and [her mother] Joan aka Jane Fogge [aged 22] were married.

On 6th April 1492 Maud Green was born to Thomas Green [aged 31] and Joan aka Jane Fogge [aged 26] at Northamptonshire.

On 9th November 1506 [her father] Thomas Green [aged 45] died at the Tower of London [Map] having been imprisoned on a charge of treason. His daughters [her sister] Anne Green Baroness Vaux of Harrowden [aged 17] and Maud Green [aged 14] inherited his estate.

In 1508 Thomas Parr [aged 25] and Maud Green [aged 15] were married. They were fifth cousin once removed. He a great x 4 grandson of King Edward III of England.

After 29th January 1508 [her brother-in-law] Nicholas Vaux 1st Baron Vaux Harrowden [aged 48] and [her sister] Anne Green Baroness Vaux of Harrowden [aged 19] were married. The difference in their ages was 29 years.

After 11th June 1509 Maud Green [aged 17] was appointed Lady in Waiting to Catherine of Aragon Queen Consort England [aged 23].

In 1512 [her son] William Parr 1st Marquess Northampton was born to [her husband] Thomas Parr [aged 29] and Maud Green [aged 19] at Blackfriars Church Holborn. He married 1. 9th February 1527 his third cousin once removed Anne Bourchier 7th Baroness Bourchier, daughter of Henry Bourchier 2nd Earl Essex 3rd Count of Eu and Mary Saye Countess Essex and Eu 2. 1548 his fourth cousin Elisabeth Brooke Marchioness Northampton, daughter of George Brooke 9th Baron Cobham and Anne Braye Baroness Cobham 3. May 1571 Helena Snakenbourg Marchioness Northampton.

In August 1512 [her daughter] Catherine Parr Queen Consort England was born to [her husband] Thomas Parr [aged 29] and Maud Green [aged 20]. She married 1. 1529 her fourth cousin Edward Burgh, son of Thomas Burgh 7th Baron Cobham 5th Baron Strabolgi 1st Baron Burgh and Agnes Tyrwhitt Baroness Cobham, Strabolgi and Burgh 2. July 1534 her third cousin once removed John Neville 3rd Baron Latimer, son of Richard Neville 2nd Baron Latimer of Snape and Anne Stafford Baroness Latimer 3. 12th July 1543 her third cousin once removed King Henry VIII of England and Ireland, son of King Henry VII of England and Ireland and Elizabeth York Queen Consort England 4. May 1547 her sixth cousin Thomas Seymour 1st Baron Seymour and had issue.

On 15th June 1515 [her daughter] Anne Parr Countess Pembroke was born to [her husband] Thomas Parr [aged 32] and Maud Green [aged 23]. She married 1528 William Herbert 1st Earl Pembroke and had issue.

On 11th November 1517 [her husband] Thomas Parr [aged 34] died.

On 27th April 1523 [her brother-in-law] Nicholas Vaux 1st Baron Vaux Harrowden [aged 63] was created 1st Baron Vaux Harrowden. [her sister] Anne Green Baroness Vaux of Harrowden [aged 34] by marriage Baroness Vaux Harrowden.

Before 14th May 1523 [her sister] Anne Green Baroness Vaux of Harrowden [aged 34] died.

On 9th February 1527 [her son] William Parr 1st Marquess Northampton [aged 15] and [her daughter-in-law] Anne Bourchier 7th Baroness Bourchier [aged 10] were married. They lived apart for the first twelve years of their marriage. She the daughter of Henry Bourchier 2nd Earl Essex 3rd Count of Eu and Mary Saye Countess Essex and Eu [aged 53]. They were third cousin once removed. He a great x 5 grandson of King Edward III of England. She a great x 4 granddaughter of King Edward III of England.

In 1528 [her son-in-law] William Herbert 1st Earl Pembroke [aged 27] and [her daughter] Anne Parr Countess Pembroke [aged 12] were married.

In 1529 [her son-in-law] Edward Burgh and [her daughter] Catherine Parr Queen Consort England [aged 16] were married. They were fourth cousins. He a great x 5 grandson of King Edward III of England. She a great x 5 granddaughter of King Edward III of England.

On 1st December 1531 Maud Green [aged 39] died.
