Before 9th October 1656 [his son-in-law] Colonel John Lamplugh of Lamplugh Hall in Cumberland [aged 37] and [his daughter] Frances Lamplugh were married. They were half third cousin once removed.

In 1670 Thomas Lamplugh of Ribton in Cumberland [aged 83] died. He was buried at St Mary's Church, Brandesburton.
