Samuel John Brooke-Pechell 3rd Baronet 1785-1849

On 28th April 1783 [his father] Thomas Brooke-Pechell 2nd Baronet [aged 30] and [his mother] Charlotte Clavering Lady Pechell [aged 24] were married.

On 1st September 1785 Samuel John Brooke-Pechell 3rd Baronet was born to Thomas Brooke-Pechell 2nd Baronet [aged 32] and Charlotte Clavering Lady Pechell [aged 26].

In 1796 Samuel John Brooke-Pechell 3rd Baronet [aged 10] joined the Navy. He distinguished himself in 1809 in the capture of a forty-gun French frigate; was at the reduction of Martinique, 1810, and in various other actions.

On 13th January 1800 [his grandfather] Paul Pechell 1st Baronet [aged 75] died. His son [his father] Thomas [aged 46] succeeded 2nd Baronet Pechell of Paglesham in Essex. [his mother] Charlotte Clavering Lady Pechell [aged 41] by marriage Lady Pechell of Paglesham in Essex.

On 18th June 1826 [his father] Thomas Brooke-Pechell 2nd Baronet [aged 73] died. His son Samuel [aged 40] succeeded 3rd Baronet Brooke-Pechell of Paglesham in Essex.

In 1830 Samuel John Brooke-Pechell 3rd Baronet [aged 44] was elected MP Helston which seat he held until 1831.

In 1832 Samuel John Brooke-Pechell 3rd Baronet [aged 46] was elected MP Windsor which seat he held until 1835.

On 15th April 1833 Samuel John Brooke-Pechell 3rd Baronet [aged 47] and Julia Maria Petre Lady Brooke-Pechell [aged 43] were married at her mother's [aged 63] house in Grosvenor Square, Belgravia. She by marriage Lady Brooke-Pechell of Paglesham in Essex.

On 23rd October 1841 [his mother] Charlotte Clavering Lady Pechell [aged 82] died at Hampton Court Palace, Richmond [Map].

On 6th September 1844 [his wife] Julia Maria Petre Lady Brooke-Pechell [aged 54] died at Hill Street, Berkeley Square.

On 9th November 1846 Samuel John Brooke-Pechell 3rd Baronet [aged 61] was promoted to Rear-Admiral.

On 3rd November 1849 Samuel John Brooke-Pechell 3rd Baronet [aged 64] died without issue at Hill Street, Berkeley Square. His brother George [aged 60] succeeded 4th Baronet Brooke-Pechell of Pagelsham in Essex.
