Frances Napier Lady Barkham 1633-1706

On 30th April 1623 [her father] Robert Napier 2nd Baronet [aged 20] and Frances Thornhurst [aged 18] were married.

Before 31st January 1633 [her father] Robert Napier 2nd Baronet [aged 30] and [her mother] Penelope Egerton Lady Napier [aged 24] were married. She the daughter of [her grandfather] John Egerton 1st Earl Bridgewater [aged 54] and [her grandmother] Frances Stanley Countess Bridgewater [aged 50].

On 31st January 1633 Frances Napier Lady Barkham was born to Robert Napier 2nd Baronet [aged 30] and Penelope Egerton Lady Napier [aged 24].

On 22nd April 1637 [her grandfather] Robert Napier 1st Baronet [aged 77] died. His son [her father] Robert [aged 34] succeeded 2nd Baronet Napier of Luton Hoo in Bedfordshire. [her mother] Penelope Egerton Lady Napier [aged 28] by marriage Lady Napier of Luton Hoo in Bedfordshire.

Around 1658 [her mother] Penelope Egerton Lady Napier [aged 49] died.

On 28th June 1660 Edward Barkham 2nd Baronet [aged 32] and Frances Napier Lady Barkham [aged 27] were married. She by marriage Edward Barkham 2nd Baronet.

In March 1661 [her father] Robert Napier 2nd Baronet [aged 58] died. His grandson Robert succeeded 3rd Baronet Napier of Luton Hoo in Bedfordshire although it appears he may have been disinherited by his grandfather and probably never assumed the title.

In 1665 [her daughter] Penelope Barkham was born to [her husband] Edward Barkham 2nd Baronet [aged 37] and Frances Napier Lady Barkham [aged 31]. She died aged eight in 1673.

On 2nd August 1667 [her father-in-law] Edward Barkham 1st Baronet [aged 75] died. He was buried at Church of St George, South Acre [Map]. His son [her husband] Edward [aged 39] succeeded 2nd Baronet Barkham of South Acre in Norfolk. Frances Napier Lady Barkham [aged 34] by marriage Lady Barkham of South Acre in Norfolk.

Before 8th June 1670 [her daughter] Eleanor Barkham was born to [her husband] Edward Barkham 2nd Baronet [aged 42] and Frances Napier Lady Barkham [aged 37] She married before 1736 Charles Yallop and had issue.

On 11th July 1673 [her daughter] Penelope Barkham [aged 8] died. She was buried at Church of St George, South Acre [Map]. Inscription: Hic jacet Penelope, filia Domini [her husband] Edwardi Barkham Baronetti [aged 45], et Franciscæ [aged 40] uxor is sue, qui quidem Penelope, Ætate Puellula, sed Prudentiâ, Pietate, Virtute Matrona omnibus satis, Parentibus nimis, et Deo maxime chara, terras reliquit, ad Nuptias Agni vocata Julij 11, 1673, Annoq; Ætatis suæ, Octavo.

Penelope Barkham: In 1665 she was born to Edward Barkham 2nd Baronet and Frances Napier Lady Barkham.

Edward Barkham 2nd Baronet: In 1628 he was born to Edward Barkham 1st Baronet and Francis Berney. On 28th June 1660 Edward Barkham 2nd Baronet and Frances Napier Lady Barkham were married. She by marriage Edward Barkham 2nd Baronet. On 2nd August 1667 Edward Barkham 1st Baronet died. He was buried at Church of St George, South Acre [Map]. His son Edward succeeded 2nd Baronet Barkham of South Acre in Norfolk. Frances Napier Lady Barkham by marriage Lady Barkham of South Acre in Norfolk. In 1688 Edward Barkham 2nd Baronet died. His brother William succeeded 3rd Baronet Barkham of South Acre in Norfolk.

In 1688 [her husband] Edward Barkham 2nd Baronet [aged 60] died. His brother [her brother-in-law] William [aged 48] succeeded 3rd Baronet Barkham of South Acre in Norfolk.

On or before 19th November 1706 Frances Napier Lady Barkham [aged 73] died. She was buried at the Church of St George, South Acre [Map] where there is an inscription "Novembris 19: Sepulta Domina Francisca Relicta Dmi Edwardi Barkham Baronelli: et postea Dmi Henrici Rychardson Baronis De Cramon".

After Henry Richardson 3rd Baron Cramond and Frances Napier Lady Barkham were married.
