In 1136 [her father] Raymond Poitiers [aged 21] and [her mother] Princess Constance of Antioch [aged 8] were married. He by marriage Prince Antioch. He the son of [her grandfather] William "Troubadour" Poitiers IX Duke Aquitaine and [her grandmother] Philippa Rouerge Duchess Aquitaine. They were third cousin once removed.
In 1145 Maria of Antioch was born to Raymond Poitiers [aged 30] and Princess Constance of Antioch [aged 17].
In 1146 [her future husband] Manuel Komnenos [aged 27] and Bertha of Sulzbach were married.
On 29th June 1149 [her father] Raymond Poitiers [aged 34] was beheaded at the Battle of Inab.
Before May 1153 [her step-father] Raynald of Châtillon [aged 29] and [her mother] Princess Constance of Antioch [aged 25] were married.
In 1161 or 1162 Manuel Komnenos [aged 42] and Maria of Antioch [aged 16] were married. The difference in their ages was 26 years.
In 1163 [her mother] Princess Constance of Antioch [aged 35] died. Her son [her brother] Prince [aged 15] succeeded Prince Antioch.
On 14th September 1169 [her son] Emperor Alexios II Komnenos was born to [her husband] Manuel Komnenos [aged 50] and Maria of Antioch [aged 24]. He married 2nd March 1180 his second cousin twice removed Agnes Empress of Byzantine, daughter of Louis VII King of the Franks and Adèle Queen of the Franks.
In February 1180 Renier of Montferrat [aged 18] and [her step-daughter] Maria Komnene [aged 27] were married.
On 2nd March 1180 [her son] Emperor Alexios II Komnenos [aged 10] and [her daughter-in-law] Agnes Empress of Byzantine [aged 9] were married. She the daughter of Louis VII King of the Franks [aged 60] and Adèle Queen of the Franks. They were second cousin twice removed. She a great x 2 granddaughter of King William "Conqueror" I of England.

In 1536, two weeks after the execution of Anne Boleyn, her brother George and four others, Lancelot du Carle, wrote an extraordinary letter that described Anne's life, and her trial and execution, to which he was a witness. In 1182 Maria of Antioch [aged 37] died.
In July 1182 [her former step-daughter] Maria Komnene [aged 30] was fatally poisoned, probably on the orders of his wife's step-mother Maria of Antioch, who would also poison her husband Renier of Montferrat [aged 20] a year later.
In 1183 [her son] Emperor Alexios II Komnenos [aged 13] was compelled to condemn his own mother Maria of Antioch to death.
In 1183 Renier of Montferrat [aged 21] was fatally poisoned, as his wife [her former step-daughter] Maria Komnene had been a year before, probably on the orders of his wife's step-mother Maria of Antioch.
