Before 30th August 1608 [his father] Richard Carew 1st Baronet [aged 28] and [his mother] Bridget Chudleigh [aged 24] were married.

On 30th August 1608 Alexander Carew 2nd Baronet was born to Richard Carew 1st Baronet [aged 28] and Bridget Chudleigh [aged 24] at Antony, Cornwall. He was baptised on 4th September 1608 at St James' Church, Antony [Map].

On 13th April 1612 [his mother] Bridget Chudleigh [aged 28] died.

After 13th April 1612, the date of the death of his first wife [his mother] Bridget Chudleigh [deceased], [his father] Richard Carew 1st Baronet [aged 32] and [his step-mother] Grace Rolle Lady Rolle [aged 19] were married.

In December 1631 Alexander Carew 2nd Baronet [aged 23] and Jane Rolle Lady Carew were married at St Petroc's Church, Petrockstowe [Map]. She being his step-aunt, sister of his step-mother Grace Rolle Lady Rolle [aged 38].

On 6th November 1635 [his son] John Carew 3rd Baronet was born to Alexander Carew 2nd Baronet [aged 27] and [his wife] Jane Rolle Lady Carew. He married (1) before 8th August 1664 Sarah Hungerford and had issue (2) after 1671 Elizabeth Norton (3) 5th July 1681 Mary Morice Lady Carew, daughter of William Morice 1st Baronet and Gertrude Bampfylde Lady Morice, and had issue.

In November 1640 Alexander Carew 2nd Baronet [aged 32] was elected MP Cornwall during the Long Parliament.

In March 1643 Alexander Carew 2nd Baronet [aged 34] was appointed Commander of St Nicholas' Island.

On 14th March 1643 [his father] Richard Carew 1st Baronet [aged 63] died. His son Alexander [aged 34] succeeded 2nd Baronet Carew of Antony in Cornwall. [his wife] Jane Rolle Lady Carew by marriage Lady Carew of Antony in Cornwall.

In August 1643 Alexander Carew 2nd Baronet [aged 34] was arrested, after attempting to switch sides and handing over St Nicholas' Island to the Royalists; he was taken to London.

On 5th December 1643 Alexander Carew 2nd Baronet [aged 35] was imprisoned at Tower of London [Map].

On 19th November 1644 Alexander Carew 2nd Baronet [aged 36] was tried for treason, for attempting to betray the Parliamentary cause, by court-martial and convicted at Guildhall [Map].

On 23rd December 1644 Alexander Carew 2nd Baronet was beheaded at Tower Hill [Map]. He was buried at St Augustine's Church, Hackney. His son John [aged 9] succeeded 3rd Baronet Carew of Antony in Cornwall.

On 25th April 1679 Jane Rolle Lady Carew died; wife of Alexander Carew 2nd Baronet. She was buried at St James' Church, Antony [Map].

Jane Rolle Lady Carew: she was born to Robert Rolle of Heanton. In December 1631 Alexander Carew 2nd Baronet and she were married at St Petroc's Church, Petrockstowe [Map]. She being his step-aunt, sister of his step-mother Grace Rolle Lady Rolle. On 14th March 1643 Richard Carew 1st Baronet died. His son Alexander succeeded 2nd Baronet Carew of Antony in Cornwall. She by marriage Lady Carew of Antony in Cornwall.
