Henrici Quinti, Angliæ Regis, Gesta, is a first-hand account of the Agincourt Campaign, and subsequent events to his death in 1422. The author of the first part was a Chaplain in King Henry's retinue who was present from King Henry's departure at Southampton in 1415, at the siege of Harfleur, the battle of Agincourt, and the celebrations on King Henry's return to London. The second part, by another writer, relates the events that took place including the negotiations at Troye, Henry's marriage and his death in 1422.

On 2nd January 1802 [his father] George Rodney 2nd Baron Rodney [aged 48] died. His son [his brother] George [aged 19] succeeded 3rd Baron Rodney of Rodney Stoke in Somerset.
In 1807 Spencer Rodney 5th Baron Rodney [aged 21] was awarded Bachelor of Arts at All Souls College, Oxford University.
In 1811 Spencer Rodney 5th Baron Rodney [aged 25] was awarded Master of Arts: Oxford University at All Souls College, Oxford University.
In April 1840 [his mother] Anne Harley Baroness Rodney [aged 80] died.

On 21st June 1842 George Rodney 3rd Baron Rodney [aged 60] died. His brother Thomas [aged 58] succeeded 4th Baron Rodney of Rodney Stoke in Somerset.
In 1843 Thomas James Rodney 4th Baron Rodney [aged 59] died. His brother Spencer [aged 57] succeeded 5th Baron Rodney of Rodney Stoke in Somerset.
On 15th May 1846 Spencer Rodney 5th Baron Rodney [aged 61] died at Harley Street Marylebone. He was buried at Eye, Suffolk. His nephew Robert [aged 25] succeeded 6th Baron Rodney of Rodney Stoke in Somerset.
