On 14th August 1693 [his father] Uvedale Corbet 3rd Baronet [aged 25] and [his mother] Mildred Cecil Baroness Hotham were married. She the daughter of [his grandfather] James Cecil 3rd Earl Salisbury and [his grandmother] Margaret Manners Countess of Salisbury. They were fourth cousin once removed.
In 1696 Richard Corbet 4th Baronet was born to Uvedale Corbet 3rd Baronet [aged 28] and Mildred Cecil Baroness Hotham.
After 1701 [his step-father] Charles Hotham 4th Baronet [aged 38] and [his mother] Mildred Cecil Baroness Hotham were married. She by marriage Lady Hotham of Scorborough in Yorkshire. She the daughter of [his grandfather] James Cecil 3rd Earl Salisbury and [his grandmother] Margaret Manners Countess of Salisbury.
On 15th October 1701 [his father] Uvedale Corbet 3rd Baronet [aged 33] died. His son Richard [aged 5] succeeded 4th Baronet Corbet of Leighton in Montgomeryshire.
On 30th June 1713 Richard Corbet 4th Baronet [aged 17] matriculated New College, Oxford University.
On 9th April 1723 Richard Corbet 4th Baronet [aged 27] was elected MP Shrewsbury.
In 1727 [his mother] Mildred Cecil Baroness Hotham died.
In 1741 Richard Corbet 4th Baronet [aged 45] was elected MP Shrewsbury unopposed.
In 1774 Richard Corbet 4th Baronet [aged 78] died unmarried. Baronet Corbet of Leighton in Montgomeryshire extinct.
