Victor Montagu 10th Earl Sandwich 1906-1995

In 1905 [his father] George Charles Montagu 9th Earl Sandwich [aged 30] and [his mother] Alberta Sturges Countess Sandwich [aged 27] were married.

On 22nd May 1906 Victor Montagu 10th Earl Sandwich was born to George Charles Montagu 9th Earl Sandwich [aged 31] and Alberta Sturges Countess Sandwich [aged 28].

On 26th June 1916 Edward Montagu 8th Earl Sandwich [aged 76] died unmarried. His nephew [his father] George [aged 41] succeeded 9th Earl Sandwich. [his mother] Alberta Sturges Countess Sandwich [aged 38] by marriage Countess Sandwich.

On 28th November 1928 Henry Philip Hunloke [aged 21] and [his future wife] Anne Cavendish Countess Sandwich [aged 19] were married at St George's Church, Hanover Square. She the daughter of Victor Christian William Cavendish 9th Duke Devonshire [aged 60] and Evelyn Emily Mary Petty-Fitzmaurice Duchess Devonshire [aged 58].

On 27th July 1934 Victor Montagu 10th Earl Sandwich [aged 28] and Maud Rosemary Peto [aged 18] were married. He the son of George Charles Montagu 9th Earl Sandwich [aged 59] and Alberta Sturges Countess Sandwich [aged 56].

On 11th April 1943 [his son] John Montagu 11th Earl of Sandwich was born to Victor Montagu 10th Earl Sandwich [aged 36]. He married 1st July 1968 Caroline Montagu Countess of Sandwich and had issue.

In 1958 Victor Montagu 10th Earl Sandwich [aged 51] and Maud Rosemary Peto [aged 42] were divorced.

On 7th June 1962 Victor Montagu 10th Earl Sandwich [aged 56] and Anne Cavendish Countess Sandwich [aged 52] were married. She the daughter of Victor Christian William Cavendish 9th Duke Devonshire and Evelyn Emily Mary Petty-Fitzmaurice Duchess Devonshire. He the son of George Charles Montagu 9th Earl Sandwich [aged 87] and Alberta Sturges Countess Sandwich [aged 84].

On 15th June 1962 [his father] George Charles Montagu 9th Earl Sandwich [aged 87] died. His son Victor [aged 56] succeeded 10th Earl Sandwich. [his wife] Anne Cavendish Countess Sandwich [aged 52] by marriage Countess Sandwich.

In 1965 Victor Montagu 10th Earl Sandwich [aged 58] and Anne Cavendish Countess Sandwich [aged 55] were divorced.

On 1st July 1968 John Montagu 11th Earl of Sandwich [aged 25] and Caroline Montagu Countess of Sandwich [aged 25] were married. He the son of Victor Montagu 10th Earl Sandwich [aged 62].

On 18th May 1981 [his former wife] Anne Cavendish Countess Sandwich [aged 71] died.

On 25th February 1995 Victor Montagu 10th Earl Sandwich [aged 88] died. His son John [aged 51] succeeded 11th Earl Sandwich. Caroline Montagu Countess of Sandwich [aged 52] by marriage Countess Sandwich.

In 1998 [his former wife] Maud Rosemary Peto [aged 82] died.
