In February 1655 George Brydges 6th Baron Chandos [aged 34] died of smallpox. His succeeded brother William Brydges 7th Baron Chandos [aged 34] succeeded 7th Baron Chandos of Sudeley.

Before 1663 George Pitt [aged 37] and [his former wife] Jane Savage Baroness Chandos [aged 36] were married. She the daughter of [his former father-in-law] John Savage 2nd Earl Rivers and Catherine Parker.

On 6th June 1676 [his former wife] Jane Savage Baroness Chandos [aged 50] died.
