After 26th March 1521 [his father] George Darcy 1st Baron Darcy Aston [aged 24] and [his mother] Dorothy Melton Baroness Darcy [aged 15] were married. They were fifth cousins.

Around 1540 John Darcy 2nd Baron Darcy Aston was born to George Darcy 1st Baron Darcy Aston [aged 43] and Dorothy Melton Baroness Darcy [aged 34] at Aston.

In 1548 George Darcy 1st Baron Darcy Aston [aged 51] was created 1st Baron Darcy of Aston. Dorothy Melton Baroness Darcy [aged 42] by marriage Baroness Darcy of Aston. Some argue this was a restoration of his father's Barony although when he took his place in the House of Lords it was a junior Baron ie without the precedence of the former Barony suggesting it was a new creation. However, when his son John Darcy 2nd Baron Darcy Aston [aged 8] took his place in the House of Lords it was with the precedence of the former Barony.

On 21st September 1557 [his mother] Dorothy Melton Baroness Darcy [aged 51] died.

On 28th August 1558 [his father] George Darcy 1st Baron Darcy Aston [aged 61] died at Stepney [Map]. His son John [aged 18] succeeded 2nd Baron Darcy of Aston.

In or before 1572 [his son] Michael Darcy and [his daughter-in-law] Margaret Wentworth [aged 3] were married. They were half sixth cousins.

On 13th December 1588 [his son] Michael Darcy died.

Before 18th October 1602 John Darcy 2nd Baron Darcy Aston [aged 62] and Anne Babington [aged 64] were married. She by marriage Baroness Darcy of Aston. They were sixth cousins.

On 18th October 1602 John Darcy 2nd Baron Darcy Aston [aged 62] died at Aston. His grandson John [aged 30] succeeded 3rd Baron Darcy of Aston. Rosamund Freschville Baroness Darcy [aged 26] by marriage Baroness Darcy of Aston.

Jean de Waurin was a French Chronicler, from the Artois region, who was born around 1400, and died around 1474. On 1st February 1632 [his former wife] Anne Babington [aged 94] died.

[his son] Michael Darcy was born to John Darcy 2nd Baron Darcy Aston and Anne Babington. He married in or before 1572 his half sixth cousin Margaret Wentworth and had issue.
