On 27th June 1374 [his father] Rupert King Germany [aged 22] and [his step-mother] Elisabeth Hohenzollern [aged 16] were married at Amberg. She the daughter of Frederick Hohenzollern V Burgrave Nuremburg [aged 41].

On 23rd January 1378 Louis Wittelsbach III Elector Palatine was born to Rupert King Germany [aged 25].

On 6th February 1393 [his brother-in-law] Charles Metz II Duke Lorraine [aged 28] and [his sister] Margaret Wittelsbach Duchess Lorraine [aged 17] were married. She by marriage Duchess Lorraine. She the daughter of [his father] Rupert King Germany [aged 40]. He the son of John Metz I Duke Lorraine and Sophie Württemberg Duchess Lorraine. They were fourth cousins.

On 21st August 1400 [his father] Rupert King Germany [aged 48] was appointed King Germany.

On 6th July 1402 Louis Wittelsbach III Elector Palatine [aged 24] and Blanche Lancaster Elector Palatinate [aged 10] were married. She the daughter of King Henry IV of England [aged 35] and Mary Bohun. He the son of Rupert King Germany [aged 50]. They were fourth cousin once removed.

On 21st July 1403 [his father-in-law] King Henry IV of England [aged 36], with his son the future [his brother-in-law] King Henry V of England [aged 16], defeated the rebel army of Henry "Hotspur" Percy [aged 39] at the Battle of Shrewsbury at the site now known as Battlefield, Shrewsbury [Map]. King Henry V of England took an arrow to the side of his face. John Stanley [aged 53] was wounded in the throat. Thomas Strickland [aged 36] fought and was awarded £38 and two of the rebel Henry's horses. Richard Beauchamp 13th Earl Warwick [aged 21] fought for the King. Walter Blount [aged 55], the King's Standard Bearer, was killed by Archibald Douglas 1st Duke Touraine [aged 31].

Thomas Wendesley [aged 59], Edmund Cockayne [aged 47] and Robert Goushill were killed.

Edmund Stafford 5th Earl Stafford [aged 25] was killed. His son Humphrey Stafford succeeded 6th Earl Stafford, 7th Baron Stafford.

Hugh Shirley [aged 52] was killed; he was one of four knights dressed as King Henry IV of England.

Of the rebels, Henry "Hotspur" Percy, Madog Kynaston [aged 43] and John Clifton were killed.

Thomas Percy 1st Earl of Worcester [aged 60] was beheaded after the battle. Earl Worcester extinct.

Richard Vernon 11th Baron Shipbrook [aged 48] was hanged. Baron Shipbrook forfeit.

John Rossall was killed. His sister Eleanor Rossall [aged 26] inherited a half-share in the Rossall Shrewsbury [Map] estates.

John Massey [aged 65] was killed.

On 26th October 1406 [his sister-in-law] Philippa Lancaster Queen Consort Denmark [aged 12] by marriage Queen Consort Denmark.

On 26th October 1406 King Eric of Norway, Denmark and Sweden [aged 25] and [his sister-in-law] Philippa Lancaster Queen Consort Denmark [aged 12] were married. She the daughter of [his father-in-law] King Henry IV of England [aged 39] and Mary Bohun.

On 22nd May 1409 [his wife] Blanche Lancaster Elector Palatinate [aged 17] died in childbirth at Haguenau.

In 1410 Louis Wittelsbach III Elector Palatine [aged 31] was appointed III Elector Palatine.

Jean de Waurin was a French Chronicler, from the Artois region, who was born around 1400, and died around 1474. On 30th November 1417 Louis Wittelsbach III Elector Palatine [aged 39] and Matilda of Savoy [aged 27] were married. He the son of Rupert King Germany.

On 7th March 1419 [his daughter] Matilde Wittelsbach Countess of Württemberg was born to Louis Wittelsbach III Elector Palatine [aged 41] and [his wife] Matilda of Savoy [aged 29]. She married (1) 1434 her fourth cousin once removed Ludwig I Count of Württemberg, son of Eberhard IV Count of Württemberg and Henriette Countess of Montbéliard, and had issue (2) 1452 her fourth cousin twice removed Albert VI Archduke of Austria, son of Ernest "The Iron" Habsburg I Duke Austria and Cymburgis Masovia Duchess Austria.

On 1st January 1424 [his son] Louis IV Count Palatine of the Rhine was born to Louis Wittelsbach III Elector Palatine [aged 45] and [his wife] Matilda of Savoy [aged 34]. He married 1445 his fifth cousin Margaret of Savoy, daughter of Amadeus Savoy VIII Count Savoy and Mary Valois Countess Savoy, and had issue.

In 1434 [his son-in-law] Ludwig I Count of Württemberg [aged 21] and Matilde Wittelsbach Countess of Württemberg [aged 14] were married. She by marriage Countess of Württemberg. She the daughter of Louis Wittelsbach III Elector Palatine [aged 55] and Matilda of Savoy [aged 44]. He the son of Eberhard IV Count of Württemberg and Henriette Countess of Montbéliard [aged 47]. They were fourth cousin once removed.

On 27th August 1434 [his sister] Margaret Wittelsbach Duchess Lorraine [aged 58] died at Nancy.

On 30th December 1436 Louis Wittelsbach III Elector Palatine [aged 58] died at Heidelburg.

In 1438 [his former wife] Matilda of Savoy [aged 48] died.
