Francis Gerard 2nd Baronet 1617-1680

In 1614 [his father] Gilbert Gerard 1st Baronet [aged 26] and [his mother] Mary Barrington were married.

On 12th October 1617 Francis Gerard 2nd Baronet was born to Gilbert Gerard 1st Baronet [aged 29] and Mary Barrington.

In 1641 Francis Gerard 2nd Baronet [aged 23] was elected MP Sleaford.

In or before 1653 Francis Gerard 2nd Baronet [aged 35] and Isabel Cheeke were married. They were fifth cousin once removed.

In 1653 [his son] Charles Gerard 3rd Baronet was born to Francis Gerard 2nd Baronet [aged 35] and [his wife] Isabel Cheeke. He married 10th February 1676 his fifth cousin once removed Honora Seymour, daughter of Charles Seymour 2nd Baron Seymour of Trowbridge and Eizabeth Alington 2nd Baroness Seymour Trowbridge, and had issue.

Around 1657 [his son] Francis Gerard 4th Baronet was born to Francis Gerard 2nd Baronet [aged 39] and [his wife] Isabel Cheeke.

In 1659 Francis Gerard 2nd Baronet [aged 41] was elected MP Middlesex.

In 1660 Francis Gerard 2nd Baronet [aged 42] was elected MP Bossiney.

In 1662 [his son] Cheeke Gerard 5th Baronet was born to Francis Gerard 2nd Baronet [aged 44] and [his wife] Isabel Cheeke.

On 6th January 1670 [his father] Gilbert Gerard 1st Baronet [aged 82] died. His son Francis [aged 52] succeeded 2nd Baronet Gerard of Harrow on the Hill.

On 10th February 1676 [his son] Charles Gerard 3rd Baronet [aged 23] and [his daughter-in-law] Honora Seymour [aged 17] were married. They were fifth cousin once removed. She a great x 5 granddaughter of King Henry VII of England and Ireland.

In December 1680 Francis Gerard 2nd Baronet [aged 63] died. His son Charles [aged 27] succeeded 3rd Baronet Gerard of Harrow on the Hill.
