On 28th July 1720 [his father] John Dolben 2nd Baronet [aged 36] and [his mother] Elizabeth Digby Lady Dolben were married.
In 1727 William Dolben 3rd Baronet was born to John Dolben 2nd Baronet [aged 43] and Elizabeth Digby Lady Dolben.
In 1730 [his mother] Elizabeth Digby Lady Dolben died.
In 1744 William Dolben 3rd Baronet [aged 17] matriculated at Christ Church College, Oxford University.
On 17th May 1748 William Dolben 3rd Baronet [aged 21] and Judith English Lady Dolben were married. She a wealthy heiress who brought a considerable fortune.
Around 1750 [his son] John English Dolben 4th Baronet was born to William Dolben 3rd Baronet [aged 23] and [his wife] Judith English Lady Dolben. He married October 1779 Hannah Hallet and had issue.
In 1756 [his father] John Dolben 2nd Baronet [aged 72] died. His son William [aged 29] succeeded 3rd Baronet Dolben of Finedon in Northamptonshire.
In 1760 William Dolben 3rd Baronet [aged 33] was appointed High Sheriff of Northamptonshire.
In 1766 William Dolben 3rd Baronet [aged 39] was appointed Verderer of Rockingham Forest.
Henrici Quinti, Angliæ Regis, Gesta, is a first-hand account of the Agincourt Campaign, and subsequent events to his death in 1422. The author of the first part was a Chaplain in King Henry's retinue who was present from King Henry's departure at Southampton in 1415, at the siege of Harfleur, the battle of Agincourt, and the celebrations on King Henry's return to London. The second part, by another writer, relates the events that took place including the negotiations at Troye, Henry's marriage and his death in 1422.

After 11th March 1768 William Dolben 3rd Baronet [aged 41] was elected MP Northamptonshire which seat he held until 1774.
On 6th January 1771 [his wife] Judith English Lady Dolben died.
In October 1779 [his son] John English Dolben 4th Baronet [aged 29] and [his daughter-in-law] Hannah Hallet were married.
In 1780 William Dolben 3rd Baronet [aged 53] was elected MP Oxford University which seat he held until 1806.
In 1788 William Dolben 3rd Baronet [aged 61] put forward a bill in 1788 to regulate conditions on board slave ships which was passed as the Slave Trade Act 1788 by a large majority.
On 14th October 1789 William Dolben 3rd Baronet [aged 62] and Charlotte Affleck Lady Dolben were married. She by marriage Lady Dolben of Finedon in Northamptonshire. They were second cousins.
On 20th March 1814 William Dolben 3rd Baronet [aged 87] died. His son John [aged 64] succeeded 4th Baronet Dolben of Finedon in Northamptonshire.
On 12th March 1820 [his former wife] Charlotte Affleck Lady Dolben died.
