Caroline Spencer Viscountess Clifden by marriage Viscountess Clifden of Gowran in County Kilkenny. She the daughter of [his grandfather] George Spencer 4th Duke of Marlborough [aged 53] and [his grandmother] Caroline Russell Duchess of Marlborough [aged 49].

On 14th January 1797 George James Welbore Agar 1st Baron Dover was born to Henry Agar 2nd Viscount Clifden [aged 35] and Caroline Spencer Viscountess Clifden [aged 34].

On 2nd February 1802 Welbore Ellis 1st Baron Mendip [aged 88] died. His succeeded great nephew [his father] Henry Agar 2nd Viscount Clifden [aged 41] succeeded 2nd Baron Mendip of Mendip in Somerset.

In 1813 [his mother] Caroline Spencer Viscountess Clifden [aged 50] died at Blenheim Palace.

On 7th March 1822 George James Welbore Agar 1st Baron Dover [aged 25] and Georgiana Howard Lady Dover [aged 18] were married. She the daughter of George Howard 6th Earl Carlisle [aged 48] and Georgiana Cavendish Countess Carlisle [aged 38]. They were third cousins.

On 28th May 1823 George Sutherland Leveson-Gower 2nd Duke Sutherland [aged 36] and [his sister-in-law] Harriet Elizabeth Georgiana Howard Duchess Sutherland [aged 17] were married. She the daughter of [his father-in-law] George Howard 6th Earl Carlisle [aged 49] and [his mother-in-law] Georgiana Cavendish Countess Carlisle [aged 39]. He the son of George Granville Leveson-Gower 1st Duke Sutherland [aged 65] and Elizabeth Sutherland Duchess Sutherland 19th Countess Sutherland [aged 58]. They were first cousin once removed.

On 25th February 1825 [his son] Henry Agar-Ellis 3rd Viscount Clifden was born to George James Welbore Agar 1st Baron Dover [aged 28] and [his wife] Georgiana Howard Lady Dover [aged 21]. He married 1861 his half fifth cousin once removed Eliza Horatia Seymour Viscountess Clifden and had issue.

On 13th May 1829 [his son] Leopold George Agar-Ellis 5th Viscount Clifden was born to George James Welbore Agar 1st Baron Dover [aged 32] and [his wife] Georgiana Howard Lady Dover [aged 25]. He married 8th February 1864 Harriet Stonor Viscountess Clifden, daughter of Thomas Stonor 3rd Baron Camoys and Frances Towneley Baroness Camoys.

In June 1831 George James Welbore Agar 1st Baron Dover [aged 34] was created 1st Baron Dover. [his sister-in-law] Caroline Georgiana Howard [aged 27] by marriage Baroness Dover.

On 10th July 1833 George James Welbore Agar 1st Baron Dover [aged 36] died. His succeeded son Henry Agar-Ellis 3rd Viscount Clifden [aged 8] succeeded 2nd Baron Dover.

In 1860 [his former wife] Georgiana Howard Lady Dover [aged 56] died.

[his daughter] Lucia Caroline Elizabeth Agar-Ellis Baroness Bagot was born to George James Welbore Agar 1st Baron Dover and Georgiana Howard Lady Dover. She married 1851 her half fourth cousin twice removed William Bagot 3rd Baron Bagot, son of William Bagot 2nd Baron Bagot and Louisa Legge Baroness Bagot, and had issue.

[his daughter] Diana Mary Blanche Georgiana Agar-Ellis was born to George James Welbore Agar 1st Baron Dover and Georgiana Howard Lady Dover. She married 5th August 1851 Edward Keppel Coke, son of Thomas Coke 1st Earl of Leicester and Anne Amelia Keppel Countess Leicester.
