She by marriage Baroness Ossulston of Ossulston in Middlesex. She the daughter of [his grandfather] Ford Grey 1st Earl Tankerville [aged 39] and [his grandmother] Mary Berkeley Countess Tankerville. They were fourth cousin once removed.

On 21st December 1697 Charles Bennet 2nd Earl Tankerville was born to Charles Bennet 1st Earl Tankerville [aged 23] and Mary Grey Baroness Ossulston [aged 19].

On 31st May 1710 [his mother] Mary Grey Baroness Ossulston [aged 32] died.

In 1714 [his father] Charles Bennet 1st Earl Tankerville [aged 40] was created 1st Earl Tankerville. His late wife [his mother] Mary Grey Baroness Ossulston having been the daughter of the first and only Earl Tankerville of the second creation [his grandfather] Ford Grey 1st Earl Tankerville.

On 20th May 1716 [his brother-in-law] John Wallop 1st Earl Portsmouth [aged 26] and [his sister] Bridget Bennet Viscountess Lymington [aged 19] were married. They had six sons and four daughters. She the daughter of [his father] Charles Bennet 1st Earl Tankerville [aged 42] and [his mother] Mary Grey Baroness Ossulston.

On 9th September 1716 [his son] Charles Bennet 3rd Earl Tankerville was born to Charles Bennet 2nd Earl Tankerville [aged 18] and [his wife] Camilla Colville Countess Tankerville [aged 19]. He married 22nd September 1742 Alice Astley Countess Tankerville, daughter of John Astley 2nd Baronet, and had issue.

On 11th June 1720 [his brother-in-law] John Wallop 1st Earl Portsmouth [aged 30] was created 1st Viscount Lymington, 1st Baron Wallop of Farley Wallop Hampshire. [his sister] Bridget Bennet Viscountess Lymington [aged 23] by marriage Viscountess Lymington.

On 21st May 1722 [his father] Charles Bennet 1st Earl Tankerville [aged 48] died. His son Charles [aged 24] succeeded 2nd Earl Tankerville, 3rd Baron Ossulston of Ossulston in Middlesex. [his wife] Camilla Colville Countess Tankerville [aged 25] by marriage Countess Tankerville.
