In September 1554 [his father] Henry Berkeley 7th Baron Berkeley [aged 19] and [his mother] Katherine Howard Baroness Berkeley [aged 16] were married at Kenninghall, Norfolk. She by marriage Baroness Berkeley. They were fourth cousin once removed.
On 15th July 1575 Thomas Berkeley was born to Henry Berkeley 7th Baron Berkeley [aged 40] and Katherine Howard Baroness Berkeley [aged 37].
On 2nd February 1589 Thomas Berkeley [aged 13] commenced studies at Gray's Inn.
On 27th June 1590 Thomas Berkeley [aged 14] was educated at Magdalen College, Oxford University.
On 7th April 1596 [his mother] Katherine Howard Baroness Berkeley [aged 58] died at Caludon, Coventry. She was buried at Draper's Chapel, St Michael's Church, Coventry.
On 9th March 1598 [his father] Henry Berkeley 7th Baron Berkeley [aged 63] and [his step-mother] Jane Stanhope Baroness Berkeley [aged 51] were married at St Giles without Cripplegate Church [Map]. She by marriage Baroness Berkeley.
Before 1601 Thomas Berkeley [aged 25] and Elizabeth Carey [aged 24] were married. They were third cousin once removed.
On 7th October 1601 [his son] George Berkeley 8th Baron Berkeley was born to Thomas Berkeley [aged 26] and [his wife] Elizabeth Carey [aged 25]. He married (1) 13th April 1614 Elizabeth Stanhope Baroness Berkeley and had issue (2) before 10th August 1658 Frances Shirley.
On 23rd July 1603 King James I of England and Ireland and VI of Scotland [aged 37] created a number Knights at the Royal Gardens Whitehall Palace:

Chronicle of a Bourgeois of Valenciennes
Récits d’un bourgeois de Valenciennes aka The Chronicle of a Bourgeois of Valenciennes is a vivid 14th-century vernacular chronicle written by an anonymous urban chronicler from Valenciennes in the County of Hainaut.
