In 1856 [his father] John St Aubyn 1st Baron St Levan [aged 26] and [his mother] Elizabeth Clementina Townshend Baroness St Levan were married. She the daughter of [his grandfather] John Townshend 4th Marquess Townshend [aged 57] and [his grandmother] Elizabeth Jane Stuart [aged 52]. They were sixth cousins.
On 23rd September 1857 John Townshend St Aubyn 2nd Baron St Levan was born to John St Aubyn 1st Baron St Levan [aged 27] and Elizabeth Clementina Townshend Baroness St Levan.
On 30th November 1872 [his grandfather] Edward St Aubyn 1st Baronet [aged 73] died. His son [his father] John [aged 43] succeeded 2nd Baronet St Aubyn of St Michael's Mount in Cornwall. [his mother] Elizabeth Clementina Townshend Baroness St Levan by marriage Lady St Aubyn of St Michael's Mount in Cornwall.
On 19th October 1878 John Townshend St Aubyn 2nd Baron St Levan [aged 21] was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the Grenadier Guards.
On 1st July 1881 John Townshend St Aubyn 2nd Baron St Levan [aged 23] was promoted to a Lieutenant.
In 1882 Vesey Dawson 2nd Earl of Dartrey [aged 39] and [his future wife] Julia Georgiana Wombwell Countess Dartrey [aged 20] were married.
In 1887 [his father] John St Aubyn 1st Baron St Levan [aged 57] was created 1st Baron St Levan of St Michael's Mount in Cornwall. [his mother] Elizabeth Clementina Townshend Baroness St Levan by marriage Baroness St Levan of St Michael's Mount in Cornwall. They had six sons and seven daughters.
In 1892 John Townshend St Aubyn 2nd Baron St Levan [aged 34] and Edith Hilaria Edgecumbe [aged 30] were married. She the daughter of William Henry Edgecumbe 4th Earl of Mount Edgcumbe [aged 58] and Katherine Elizabeth Hamilton Countess Mount Edgcumbe. They were half fifth cousin once removed. She a great x 5 granddaughter of King Charles II of England Scotland and Ireland.
In 1893 [his daughter] Marjory Katharine was born to John Townshend St Aubyn 2nd Baron St Levan [aged 35] and [his wife] Edith Hilaria Edgecumbe [aged 31]. She married 1919 John Holford Parker, son of Albert Parker 3rd Earl Morley and Margaret Holford Countess Morley, and had issue.
On 14th May 1908 [his father] John St Aubyn 1st Baron St Levan [aged 78] died. His son John [aged 50] succeeded 2nd Baron St Levan of St Michael's Mount in Cornwall, 3rd Baronet St Aubyn of St Michael's Mount in Cornwall.

In 1536, two weeks after the execution of Anne Boleyn, her brother George and four others, Lancelot du Carle, wrote an extraordinary letter that described Anne's life, and her trial and execution, to which he was a witness. On 10th November 1940 John Townshend St Aubyn 2nd Baron St Levan [aged 83] died. His nephew Francis [aged 45] succeeded 3rd Baron St Levan of St Michael's Mount in Cornwall, 4th Baronet St Aubyn of St Michael's Mount in Cornwall.
