Around 1373 Henry Scrope 3rd Baron Scrope of Masham was born to Stephen Scrope 2nd Baron Scrope of Masham and Margery Welles Baroness Scrope Masham.
Before 15th December 1376 [his father] Stephen Scrope 2nd Baron Scrope of Masham and [his mother] Margery Welles Baroness Scrope Masham were married. She by marriage Baroness Scrope of Masham.
On 14th June 1381 the rebels gained access to the Tower of London capturing Joan "Fair Maid of Kent" Princess Wales, the future King Henry IV of England, [his future wife] Joan Holland Duchess York and Archbishop Simon Sudbury.
Archbishop Simon Sudbury was beheaded at Tower Hill. He was buried at Canterbury Cathedral.
Lord Treasurer Robert Hales, who had only been appointed on the 1st February 1381, was beheaded at Tower Hill.

On 31st July 1392 [his grandfather] Henry Scrope 1st Baron Scrope of Masham died at York. [his father] Stephen Scrope 2nd Baron Scrope of Masham succeeded 2nd Baron Scrope of Masham.
On 4th November 1393 Edmund of Langley 1st Duke of York and [his future wife] Joan Holland Duchess York were married. She by marriage Duchess York. The difference in their ages was 38 years. She the daughter of Thomas Holland 2nd Earl Kent and [his future mother-in-law] Alice Fitzalan Countess Kent. He the son of King Edward III of England and Philippa of Hainaut Queen Consort England.
Before 11th July 1398 Henry Scrope 3rd Baron Scrope of Masham and Phillipe Bryan Baroness Scrope Masham Baroness Devereux were married. She by marriage Baroness Scrope of Masham.
Before 9th August 1404 William Willoughby 5th Baron Willoughby and [his future wife] Joan Holland Duchess York were married. She by marriage Baroness Willoughby de Eresby. She the daughter of Thomas Holland 2nd Earl Kent and [his future mother-in-law] Alice Fitzalan Countess Kent.
On 25th January 1406 [his father] Stephen Scrope 2nd Baron Scrope of Masham died. Henry Scrope 3rd Baron Scrope of Masham succeeded 3rd Baron Scrope of Masham.
On 19th November 1406 [his wife] Phillipe Bryan Baroness Scrope Masham Baroness Devereux died.
Around 1410 Henry Scrope 3rd Baron Scrope of Masham was appointed 118th Knight of the Garter by King Henry IV of England.
After 6th September 1410 Henry Scrope 3rd Baron Scrope of Masham and Joan Holland Duchess York were married. She by marriage Baroness Scrope of Masham. She the daughter of Thomas Holland 2nd Earl Kent and Alice Fitzalan Countess Kent.
In November 1411 Thomas Lancaster 1st Duke of Clarence and [his sister-in-law] Margaret Holland Duchess Clarence were married. She the daughter of Thomas Holland 2nd Earl Kent and [his mother-in-law] Alice Fitzalan Countess Kent. He the son of King Henry IV of England and Mary Bohun.
In 1412 Thomas Lancaster 1st Duke of Clarence was created 1st Duke Clarence by King Henry IV of England. [his sister-in-law] Margaret Holland Duchess Clarence by marriage Duchess Clarence.
On 31st July 1415, when King Henry V of England was in Portchester Castle, Hampshire preparing to invade France, Edmund Mortimer 5th Earl March 7th Earl of Ulster revealed the Southampton Plot to him. Henry Scrope 3rd Baron Scrope of Masham, Thomas Grey of Werke and Heaton, and Richard of Conisbrough 1st Earl Cambridge were intending to replace King Henry V of England with Edmund Mortimer 5th Earl March 7th Earl of Ulster as King of England based on Edmund Mortimer 5th Earl March 7th Earl of Ulster having a better claim to the throne being descended from Edward III's second son Lionel of Antwerp 1st Duke of Clarence whereas King Henry V of England was descended from the third son John of Gaunt 1st Duke Lancaster.
Robert Willoughby 6th Baron Willoughby, Richard de Vere 11th Earl of Oxford, Thomas Montagu 1st Count Perche 4th Earl Salisbury and Thomas Camoys 1st Baron Camoys sat in judgement.
On 5th August 1415 two executions of those involved in the Southampton Plot took place at the North Gate aka Bargate:
Richard of Conisbrough 1st Earl Cambridge was beheaded. Richard Plantagenet 3rd Duke of York succeeded 2nd Earl Cambridge.
Henry Scrope 3rd Baron Scrope of Masham was beheaded. [his brother] John Scrope 4th Baron Scrope of Masham succeeded 4th Baron Scrope of Masham.

On 12th April 1434 [his former wife] Joan Holland Duchess York died.
