In 1695 Marmaduke Wyvill 5th Baronet [aged 29] was elected MP Richmond.

In 1702 Marmaduke Wyvill 5th Baronet [aged 36] was appointed Commissioner of the Salt Duties and a Gommissioner of the Excise which offices he held until 1710.
