In 1762 [his father] Henry Harpur 6th Baronet [aged 23] and [his mother] Frances Elizabeth Greville Lady Harpur [aged 17] were married. She the daughter of [his grandfather] Francis Greville 1st Earl Brooke Warwick Castle 1st Earl Warwick [aged 42] and [his grandmother] Elizabeth Hamilton Countess Brooke Warwick Castle and Warwick [aged 42].

In 1763 Henry Crewe 7th Baronet was born to Henry Harpur 6th Baronet [aged 24] and Frances Elizabeth Greville Lady Harpur [aged 18].

Frances Elizabeth Greville Lady Harpur: On 11th May 1744 she was born to Francis Greville 1st Earl Brooke Warwick Castle 1st Earl Warwick and Elizabeth Hamilton Countess Brooke Warwick Castle and Warwick. In 1762 Henry Harpur 6th Baronet and she were married. She the daughter of Francis Greville 1st Earl Brooke Warwick Castle 1st Earl Warwick and Elizabeth Hamilton Countess Brooke Warwick Castle and Warwick. On 6th April 1825 Frances Elizabeth Greville Lady Harpur died.

On 10th February 1789 [his father] Henry Harpur 6th Baronet [aged 50] died. His son Henry [aged 26] succeeded 7th Baronet Harpur of Calke Abbey in Derbyshire.

In 1792 Henry Crewe 7th Baronet [aged 29] and Anne "Nanette" Hawkins [aged 26] were married. She, a lady's maid, having been his mistress. They had had one child before their marriage.

On 1st February 1795 [his son] George Crewe 8th Baronet was born to Henry Crewe 7th Baronet [aged 32] and [his wife] Anne "Nanette" Hawkins [aged 29]. He married 1819 Jane Whitaker Lady Crewe and had issue.

In 1808 Henry Crewe 7th Baronet [aged 45] adopted the surname Crewe in recognition of his great great grand-father Thomas Crew 2nd Baron Crew who was the second last of the Barons of Stene in Northamptonshire.

In 1819 [his son] George Crewe 8th Baronet [aged 23] and [his daughter-in-law] Jane Whitaker Lady Crewe [aged 20] were married.

On 6th February 1819 Henry Crewe 7th Baronet [aged 56] died in a carriage accident. He was thrown from his carriage during a journey from Marylebone, London to Barham (Boreham) House, Hertfordshire. His son George [aged 24] succeeded 8th Baronet Harpur of Calke Abbey in Derbyshire.
