She the daughter of [her grandfather] George Charles Bingham 3rd Earl Lucan [aged 53] and [her grandmother] Anne Brudenell Countess Lucan [aged 44]. They were first cousins.
In 1869 Mildred Cecilia Sturt Lady Montagu was born to Henry Gerard Sturt 1st Baron Alington [aged 43] and Augusta Bingham Baroness Alington [aged 36]. Coefficient of inbreeding 6.25%.
On 25th June 1883 [her brother] Humphrey Napier Sturt 2nd Baron Alington [aged 23] and [her sister-in-law] Feodorowna Yorke Baroness Alington [aged 19] were married. She the daughter of Charles Philip "Champagne Charlie" Yorke 5th Earl of Hardwicke [aged 47] and Sophia Georgiana Robertina Wellesley Countess Hardwicke [aged 43].
On 3rd July 1888 [her mother] Augusta Bingham Baroness Alington [aged 56] died.

On 30th April 1892 Henry Arthur Cadogan [aged 23] and Mildred Cecilia Sturt Lady Montagu [aged 23] were married at The Church of the Holy and Undivided Trinity with Saint Jude, Sloane Street. He the son of George Cadogan 5th Earl Cadogan [aged 51] and Beatrix Jane Craven Countess Cadogan [aged 47].
In 1893 [her daughter] Sibyl Louise Beatrix Cadogan was born to [her husband] Henry Arthur Cadogan [aged 24] and Mildred Cecilia Sturt Lady Montagu [aged 24]. She married 1917 her third cousin Edward Montagu Cavendish Stanley, son of Edward George Villiers Stanley 17th Earl of Derby and Alice Maude Olivia Montagu Countess Derby, and had issue.
In 1895 [her daughter] Edith Mary Cadogan Baroness Hillingdon was born to [her husband] Henry Arthur Cadogan [aged 26] and Mildred Cecilia Sturt Lady Montagu [aged 26]. She married 1916 her half fifth cousin Arthur Robert Mills 3rd Baron Hillingdon, son of Charles Mills 2nd Baron Hillingdon and Alice Marion Harbord Baroness Hillingdon, and had issue.
In 1896 [her daughter] Cynthia Hilda Evelyn Cadogan was born to [her husband] Henry Arthur Cadogan [aged 27] and Mildred Cecilia Sturt Lady Montagu [aged 27]. She married 2nd October 1917 Humphrey Edmund de Trafford 4th Baronet, son of Humphrey Francis de Trafford 3rd Baronet and Violet Franklin Lady de Trafford.
Jean de Waurin's Chronicle of England Volume 6 Books 3-6: The Wars of the Roses
Jean de Waurin was a French Chronicler, from the Artois region, who was born around 1400, and died around 1474. Waurin’s Chronicle of England, Volume 6, covering the period 1450 to 1471, from which we have selected and translated Chapters relating to the Wars of the Roses, provides a vivid, original, contemporary description of key events some of which he witnessed first-hand, some of which he was told by the key people involved with whom Waurin had a personal relationship.

She married 17th February 1920 John Albert William Spencer-Churchill 10th Duke of Marlborough, son of Charles Richard John Spencer-Churchill 9th Duke of Marlborough and Consuelo Vanderbilt Duchess of Marlborough, and had issue.
In 1901 [her daughter] Victoria Laura Cadogan was born to [her husband] Henry Arthur Cadogan [aged 32] and Mildred Cecilia Sturt Lady Montagu [aged 32]. She died aged four in 1905.
In 1903 [her son] Edward George John Humphrey Cadogan was born to [her husband] Henry Arthur Cadogan [aged 34] and Mildred Cecilia Sturt Lady Montagu [aged 34]. He died aged seven in 1910.
On 17th February 1904 [her father] Henry Gerard Sturt 1st Baron Alington [aged 78] died. His succeeded son [her brother] Humphrey Napier Sturt 2nd Baron Alington [aged 44] succeeded 2nd Baron Alington. [her sister-in-law] Feodorowna Yorke Baroness Alington [aged 40] by marriage Baroness Alington.
On 13th June 1905 [her daughter] Victoria Laura Cadogan [aged 4] died.
On 2nd July 1908 [her husband] Henry Arthur Cadogan [aged 40] died of cancer at Temple House, Theobalds Park.
In 1910 [her son] Edward George John Humphrey Cadogan [aged 7] died.
On 18th April 1910 Hedworth Lambton aka Meux [aged 53] and Mildred Cecilia Sturt Lady Montagu [aged 41] were married. He the son of George Frederick D'Arcy Lambton 2nd Earl Durham and Beatrix Frances Hamilton Countess Durham. They were fifth cousin once removed. He a great x 5 grandson of King Charles II of England Scotland and Ireland.
On 20th December 1910 Valerie Susan Langdon Lady Meux [aged 58] died. She left her estate, including Theobalds House, Hertfordshire, and a substantial interest in the Meux Brewery to [her husband] Hedworth Lambton aka Meux [aged 54] on condition that he change his surname to Meux, which he duly did. She excluded her Louisa Caroline Brudenell-Bruce Lady Meux family, the Brudenell-Bruces, from her will probably because they had shunned her socially.
In 1916 [her son-in-law] Arthur Robert Mills 3rd Baron Hillingdon [aged 24] and [her daughter] Edith Mary Cadogan Baroness Hillingdon [aged 21] were married. They were half fifth cousins.
In 1917 [her son-in-law] Edward Montagu Cavendish Stanley [aged 22] and [her daughter] Sibyl Louise Beatrix Cadogan [aged 24] were married. He the son of Edward George Villiers Stanley 17th Earl of Derby [aged 51] and [her future sister-in-law] Alice Maude Olivia Montagu Countess Derby [aged 54]. They were third cousins.
On 2nd October 1917 [her son-in-law] Humphrey Edmund de Trafford 4th Baronet [aged 25] and [her daughter] Cynthia Hilda Evelyn Cadogan [aged 21] were married.
This is a translation of the 'Memoires of Jacques du Clercq', published in 1823 in two volumes, edited by Frederic, Baron de Reissenberg. In his introduction Reissenberg writes: 'Jacques du Clercq tells us that he was born in 1424, and that he was a licentiate in law and a counsellor to Philip the Good, Duke of Burgundy, in the castellany of Douai, Lille, and Orchies. It appears that he established his residence at Arras. In 1446, he married the daughter of Baldwin de la Lacherie, a gentleman who lived in Lille. We read in the fifth book of his Memoirs that his father, also named Jacques du Clercq, had married a lady of the Le Camelin family, from Compiègne. His ancestors, always attached to the counts of Flanders, had constantly served them, whether in their councils or in their armies.' The Memoires cover a period of nineteen years beginning in in 1448, ending in in 1467. It appears that the author had intended to extend the Memoirs beyond that date; no doubt illness or death prevented him from carrying out this plan. As Reissenberg writes the 'merit of this work lies in the simplicity of its narrative, in its tone of good faith, and in a certain air of frankness which naturally wins the reader’s confidence.' Du Clercq ranges from events of national and international importance, including events of the Wars of the Roses in England, to simple, everyday local events such as marriages, robberies, murders, trials and deaths, including that of his own father in Book 5; one of his last entries.

On 18th September 1928 [her brother-in-law] John George Lambton 3rd Earl Durham [aged 73] died. His succeeded brother Frederick [aged 73] succeeded 4th Earl Durham; he died four months later. Beatrix Bulteel Countess Durham [aged 69] by marriage Countess Durham.
On 31st January 1929 [her brother-in-law] Frederick Lambton 4th Earl Durham [aged 73] died having held the Earldom for only four months. His succeeded son John Frederick Lambton 5th Earl Durham [aged 44] succeeded 5th Earl Durham.
On 20th September 1929 [her husband] Hedworth Lambton aka Meux [aged 73] died. The wealth he inherited from Valerie Susan Langdon Lady Meux was inherited by his five step-daughters, children of his wife Mildred Cecilia Sturt Lady Montagu [aged 60]: [her daughter] Sibyl Louise Beatrix Cadogan [aged 36], Edith Mary Cadogan Baroness Hillingdon [aged 34], Cynthia Hilda Evelyn Cadogan [aged 33], Alexandra Mary Cadogan Duchess of Marlborough [aged 29] and Victoria Laura Cadogan.
On 4th December 1930 Charles William Augustus Montagu [aged 70] and Mildred Cecilia Sturt Lady Montagu [aged 61] were married. He the son of William Drogo Montagu 7th Duke Manchester and Louisa Vonalten Duchess Devonshire and Manchester. They were sixth cousins.
On 10th February 1934 [her sister-in-law] Mary Louisa Elizabeth Montagu Duchess Hamilton Duchess Brandon [aged 79] died.
On 10th November 1939 [her husband] Charles William Augustus Montagu [aged 78] died.
In 1942 Mildred Cecilia Sturt Lady Montagu [aged 73] died.
