On 17th August 1663 [his father] John Paulett 3rd Baron Paulett [aged 22] and [his step-mother] Essex Popham Baroness Poulett [aged 21] were married.
In or before 1668 [his father] John Paulett 3rd Baron Paulett [aged 26] and [his mother] Susan Herbert Baroness Poulett [aged 17] were married. She by marriage Baroness Poulett. She the daughter of [his grandfather] Philip Herbert 5th Earl Pembroke 2nd Earl Montgomery [aged 46] and [his grandmother] Catherine Villiers Countess Pembroke and Montgomery [aged 46]. They were third cousin once removed.
Around 1668 John Paulett 1st Earl Paulett was born to John Paulett 3rd Baron Paulett [aged 27] and Susan Herbert Baroness Poulett [aged 17].
In June 1679 [his father] John Paulett 3rd Baron Paulett [aged 38] died. His son John [aged 11] succeeded 4th Baron Poulett.

In 1702 [his daughter] Bridget Paulett was born to John Paulett 1st Earl Paulett [aged 34] and [his future wife] Bridget Bertie Countess Paulett.
On 14th April 1702 John Paulett 1st Earl Paulett [aged 34] and Bridget Bertie Countess Paulett were married. They were fourth cousins.
In 1706 John Paulett 1st Earl Paulett [aged 38] was created 1st Earl Poulett. [his wife] Bridget Bertie Countess Paulett by marriage Countess Poulett.
In 1706 [his daughter] Catherine Paulett was born to John Paulett 1st Earl Paulett [aged 38] and [his wife] Bridget Bertie Countess Paulett. She married 1725 John Parker and had issue.
William of Worcester's Chronicle of England
William of Worcester, born around 1415, and died around 1482 was secretary to John Fastolf, the renowned soldier of the Hundred Years War, during which time he collected documents, letters, and wrote a record of events. Following their return to England in 1440 William was witness to major events. Twice in his chronicle he uses the first person: 1. when writing about the murder of Thomas, 7th Baron Scales, in 1460, he writes '… and I saw him lying naked in the cemetery near the porch of the church of St. Mary Overie in Southwark …' and 2. describing King Edward IV's entry into London in 1461 he writes '… proclaimed that all the people themselves were to recognize and acknowledge Edward as king. I was present and heard this, and immediately went down with them into the city'. William’s Chronicle is rich in detail. It is the source of much information about the Wars of the Roses, including the term 'Diabolical Marriage' to describe the marriage of Queen Elizabeth Woodville’s brother John’s marriage to Katherine, Dowager Duchess of Norfolk, he aged twenty, she sixty-five or more, and the story about a paper crown being placed in mockery on the severed head of Richard, 3rd Duke of York.

In 1710 [his son] Vere Paulett 3rd Earl Paulett was born to John Paulett 1st Earl Paulett [aged 42] and [his wife] Bridget Bertie Countess Paulett. He married before 3rd April 1756 Mary Butt and had issue.
In 1711 [his daughter] Anne Paulett was born to John Paulett 1st Earl Paulett [aged 43] and [his wife] Bridget Bertie Countess Paulett.
In 1712 Queen Anne of England Scotland and Ireland [aged 46] appointed Knights of the Garter:

In 1725 [his son-in-law] John Parker [aged 22] and Catherine Paulett [aged 19] were married. She the daughter of John Paulett 1st Earl Paulett [aged 57] and Bridget Bertie Countess Paulett.
On 28th May 1743 John Paulett 1st Earl Paulett [aged 75] died. His son John [aged 35] succeeded 2nd Earl Poulett, 5th Baron Poulett.
On 23rd March 1748 [his former wife] Bridget Bertie Countess Paulett died.
[his daughter] Rebecca Paulett was born to John Paulett 1st Earl Paulett and Bridget Bertie Countess Paulett.
[his daughter] Susannah Paulett was born to John Paulett 1st Earl Paulett and Bridget Bertie Countess Paulett.
[his son] Peregrine Paulett was born to John Paulett 1st Earl Paulett and Bridget Bertie Countess Paulett.
