On 27th July 1411 Richard Beauchamp 1st Earl of Worcester [aged 15] and [his mother] Isabel Despencer Countess Warwick and Worcester [aged 11] were married. She the daughter of [his grandfather] Thomas Despencer 1st Earl Gloucester and [his grandmother] Constance York Countess Gloucester [aged 37]. They were half fourth cousins. He a great x 3 grandson of King Edward I of England. She a great granddaughter of King Edward III of England.

Before 1425 [his father] Richard Beauchamp 13th Earl Warwick [aged 42] and [his mother] Isabel Despencer Countess Warwick and Worcester [aged 24] were married. She by marriage Countess Warwick. On 21st March 1425 Henry Beauchamp 1st Duke Warwick was born to Richard Beauchamp 13th Earl Warwick [aged 43] and Isabel Despencer Countess Warwick and Worcester [aged 24] at Hanley Castle, Worcestershire. He a great x 2 grandson of King Edward III of England.

On 6th September 1425 [his brother-in-law] John "Old Talbot" Talbot 1st Earl of Shrewsbury [aged 42] and [his half-sister] Margaret Beauchamp Countess Shrewsbury and Waterford [aged 21] were married. She by marriage Baroness Strange Blackmere, Baroness Talbot. The difference in their ages was 21 years. She the daughter of [his father] Richard Beauchamp 13th Earl Warwick [aged 43] and Elizabeth Berkeley Countess Warwick. They were second cousin twice removed. His sister Anne Beauchamp 16th Countess Warwick [aged 7] would marry her brother Richard "Kingmaker" Neville Earl Warwick, 6th Earl Salisbury [aged 5] two years later. In 1436 [his brother-in-law] Richard "Kingmaker" Neville Earl Warwick, 6th Earl Salisbury [aged 7] and Anne Beauchamp 16th Countess Warwick [aged 9] were married. A Marriage of Two Sets of Siblings. His sister Cecily Neville Duchess Warwick [aged 12] had previously married her brother Henry Beauchamp 1st Duke Warwick [aged 10]. In 1437 [his brother-in-law] George Neville 1st Baron Latimer of Snape [aged 30] and [his half-sister] Elizabeth Beauchamp Baroness Latimer [aged 20] were married. She by marriage Baroness Latimer of Snape. She the daughter of [his father] Richard Beauchamp 13th Earl Warwick [aged 54] and Elizabeth Berkeley Countess Warwick. On 30th April 1439 [his father] Richard Beauchamp 13th Earl Warwick [aged 57] died at Rouen, France [Map]. His son Henry [aged 14] succeeded 14th Earl Warwick. [his wife] Cecily Neville Duchess Warwick [aged 15] by marriage Countess Warwick.

In the middle of the Beauchamp Chapel [Map] lieth upon a tomb of marble, in full statue, the effigy of Richard Beauchamp, Earl of Warwick, in armour, all made of fine latten brass, doubly guilt.

Besides these there stand round about, his tomb, eighteen lesser images, made of brass and gilt, resembling angels, with this label: Glory and for Praise to God - Mercy to the Dead.

The Inscription about his tomb, engraved in brass, in the uncouth diction and spelling, is as follows:

Preith devoutly for the Sowel whom God assoile of one of the moost worshipful Knightes, in his Dayles of Monhode and Conning. Richard Beauchamp, late Earl of Warrewyk. Lord Despenser of Bergevenny, of mony other grete Lordships; whose Body resteth here under this Tumbe in a ful seire voute of Stone set on the bare rooch, the which visited with longe sikness in the Castel of Roan therinne deceased full cristenty the last day of April, the yer of our Lord God MCCCCXXXIX. He being at that time lieutenant, genal and goverin of the Roialmes of Fraunce, and of the Duchie of Normandie by sufficient authorite of oure Sovaigne Lord the King Harry the sixth, the which body with grete deliberacon and ful worshipful Conduit by see and by lond was brought to Warrewik the iiii day of October the yer aboveseide and was leide with ful solemne exequies in a feir Chest made of Stone in this Church, afore the west dore of this Chapel according to his last Wille and Testament therein to reste, til this Chapel by him devised in his lief were made. At the whuche Chapel founded on the rooche and alle the Membres thereof, his Executors dede fully make and apparaille, by the autorite of his said wille & Testament, and thereafter by the same autorite then dide translate ful worshipfully the seide body into the vout abouesaide; honired be God therefore.

On 27th December 1439 [his mother] Isabel Despencer Countess Warwick and Worcester [aged 39] died. Her son Henry [aged 14] succeeded 6th Baron Burghesh.

In 1442 [his brother-in-law] Edmund Beaufort 1st or 2nd Duke of Somerset [aged 36] was created 1st Marquess Dorset. [his half-sister] Eleanor Beauchamp Duchess Somerset [aged 33] by marriage Marchioness Dorset.

In 1442 [his brother-in-law] John "Old Talbot" Talbot 1st Earl of Shrewsbury [aged 59] was created 1st Earl of Shrewsbury and 1st Earl Waterford. [his half-sister] Margaret Beauchamp Countess Shrewsbury and Waterford [aged 38] by marriage Countess of Shrewsbury Countess Waterford.

On 14th February 1444 [his daughter] Anne Beauchamp 15th Countess Warwick was born to Henry Beauchamp 1st Duke Warwick [aged 18] and Cecily Neville Duchess Warwick [aged 20] at Cardiff. She a great x 3 granddaughter of King Edward III of England.

Baron Burghesh, and the representation of the three Despencers Baronies abeyant between her cousin George Neville 5th and 3rd Baron Abergavenny and her aunt Anne Beauchamp 16th Countess Warwick [aged 17].

Her subsequent death aged four (her father died when she was aged three) resulted in Richard "Kingmaker" Neville Earl Warwick, 6th Earl Salisbury [aged 15] unexpectedly becoming Earl of Warwick by marriage ie by right of his wife Anne Beauchamp 16th Countess Warwick who was the younger Anne's Aunt. She died aged five in 1449.

On 30th May 1444 John Beaufort 1st Duke of Somerset [aged 41] committed suicide. Suicide not certain but likely. Duke Somerset, Earl Kendal extinct. His brother [his brother-in-law] Edmund [aged 38] succeeded 4th Earl Somerset. [his half-sister] Eleanor Beauchamp Duchess Somerset [aged 35] by marriage Countess Somerset.

His only child Margaret Beaufort Countess Richmond aged one was his heir. King Henry VI of England and II of France [aged 22] granted her wardship to William "Jackanapes" de la Pole 1st Duke of Suffolk [aged 47] who married her to his son John de la Pole 2nd Duke of Suffolk [aged 1].

Chronicle of Gregory. 1445. And that same year was the Erle of Warwyke [aged 19] made Duke of Warwyke.

On 14th April 1445 Henry Beauchamp 1st Duke Warwick [aged 20] was created 1st Duke Warwick by his third cousin King Henry VI of England and II of France [aged 23]. [his wife] Cecily Neville Duchess Warwick [aged 21] by marriage Duchess Warwick.

On 11th June 1446 Henry Beauchamp 1st Duke Warwick [aged 21] died at Hanley Castle, Worcestershire. Duke Warwick extinct. His daughter Anne [aged 2] succeeded 15th Countess Warwick, 7th Baroness Burghesh.

In 1449 John "Butcher of England" Tiptoft 1st Earl of Worcester [aged 21] and [his former wife] Cecily Neville Duchess Warwick [aged 25] were married. Her second marriage; her first husband Henry Beauchamp 1st Duke Warwick had died three years earlier - she was a wealthy widow. She died a year later. She the daughter of [his former father-in-law] Richard Neville Earl Salisbury [aged 49] and [his former mother-in-law] Alice Montagu 5th Countess of Salisbury [aged 42]. They were second cousins. He a great x 4 grandson of King Edward I of England. She a great x 2 granddaughter of King Edward III of England.

On 26th July 1450 [his former wife] Cecily Neville Duchess Warwick [aged 26] died.
