Charles Chetwynd-Talbot 20th Earl of Shrewsbury 5th Earl Talbot 1860-1921

On 2nd October 1875 [his brother-in-law] Charles Stewart Vane-Tempest-Stewart 6th Marquess Londonderry [aged 23] and [his sister] Theresa Susey Helen Chetwynd-Talbot Marchioness Londonderry [aged 19] were married at Alton, Cheadle, Staffordshire. She the daughter of [his father] Charles Chetwynd-Talbot 19th Earl of Shrewsbury 4th Earl Talbot [aged 45] and [his mother] Anna Theresa Cockerell Countess Shrewsbury and Waterford [aged 39]. He the son of George Henry Vane-Tempest 5th Marquess Londonderry [aged 54] and Mary Cornelia Edwards Marchioness Londonderry [aged 46].

On 11th May 1877 [his father] Charles Chetwynd-Talbot 19th Earl of Shrewsbury 4th Earl Talbot [aged 47] died. His succeeded son Charles [aged 16] succeeded 20th Earl of Shrewsbury, 20th Earl Waterford, 5th Earl Talbot, 5th Viscount Ingestre, 7th Baron Talbot of Hensol in Glamorganshire.

In June 1882 Charles Chetwynd-Talbot 20th Earl of Shrewsbury 5th Earl Talbot [aged 21] and Ellen Palmer Morewood Countess Shrewsbury Waterford Talbot [aged 25] were married. She being older, already married, with a child. He being nineteen. They eloped. Their first child born three months after the marriage. She by marriage Countess of Shrewsbury, Countess Waterford, Countess Talbot. He the son of Charles Chetwynd-Talbot 19th Earl of Shrewsbury 4th Earl Talbot and Anna Theresa Cockerell Countess Shrewsbury and Waterford [aged 46].

On 8th September 1882 [his son] Charles Chetwynd-Talbot was born to Charles Chetwynd-Talbot 20th Earl of Shrewsbury 5th Earl Talbot [aged 21] and [his wife] Ellen Palmer Morewood Countess Shrewsbury Waterford Talbot [aged 26]. He married 23rd April 1904 Winifred Contance Hester Paget and had issue.

On 6th November 1884 George Henry Vane-Tempest 5th Marquess Londonderry [aged 63] died. His succeeded son [his brother-in-law] Charles [aged 32] succeeded 6th Marquess Londonderry. [his sister] Theresa Susey Helen Chetwynd-Talbot Marchioness Londonderry [aged 28] by marriage Marchioness Londonderry.

On 23rd April 1904 Charles Chetwynd-Talbot [aged 21] and Winifred Contance Hester Paget [aged 22] were married. He the son of Charles Chetwynd-Talbot 20th Earl of Shrewsbury 5th Earl Talbot [aged 43] and Ellen Palmer Morewood Countess Shrewsbury Waterford Talbot [aged 47].

On 29th July 1912 [his mother] Anna Theresa Cockerell Countess Shrewsbury and Waterford [aged 76] died.

On 8th January 1915 [his son] Charles Chetwynd-Talbot [aged 32] died of pneumonia. He was buried at St Mary the Virgin Church, Ingestre [Map]. Monument sculpted by Countess Feodora Gleichen [aged 53].

On 23rd April 1904 Charles Chetwynd-Talbot and Winifred Contance Hester Paget were married. He the son of Charles Chetwynd-Talbot 20th Earl of Shrewsbury 5th Earl Talbot and Ellen Palmer Morewood Countess Shrewsbury Waterford Talbot.

On 16th March 1919 [his sister] Theresa Susey Helen Chetwynd-Talbot Marchioness Londonderry [aged 62] died. Memorial at St Mary's Church, Long Newton [Map].

On 17th May 1921 Charles Chetwynd-Talbot 20th Earl of Shrewsbury 5th Earl Talbot [aged 60] died. On 7th May 1921 His succeeded grandson John Chetwynd-Talbot 21st Earl of Shrewsbury 6th Earl Talbot [aged 6] succeeded 21st Earl of Shrewsbury, 21st Earl Waterford, 6th Earl Talbot, 6th Viscount Ingestre, 8th Baron Talbot of Hensol in Glamorganshire.

After 17th May 1921. Memorial at St Mary the Virgin Church, Ingestre [Map] to Charles Chetwynd-Talbot 20th Earl of Shrewsbury 5th Earl Talbot [deceased] commissioned by his sister Muriel Frances Louisa Chetwynd-Talbot [aged 61].

On 23rd August 1940 [his former wife] Ellen Palmer Morewood Countess Shrewsbury Waterford Talbot [aged 84] died.
