Poulett George Henry Somerset 1822-1875

On 7th June 1788 [his father] Charles Henry Somerset [aged 20] and Elizabeth Courtenay [aged 21] were married. She the daughter of William Courtenay 8th Earl Devon [aged 45] and Frances Clack Countess Devon. He the son of [his grandfather] Henry Somerset 5th Duke Beaufort [aged 43] and [his grandmother] Elizabeth Boscawen Duchess Beaufort [aged 41].

On 9th August 1821 [his father] Charles Henry Somerset [aged 53] and [his mother] Mary Paulett were married. She the daughter of [his grandfather] John Paulett 4th Earl Paulett and [his grandmother] Sophia Pocock Countess Paulett. He the son of Henry Somerset 5th Duke Beaufort and Elizabeth Boscawen Duchess Beaufort [aged 74].

On 19th June 1822 Poulett George Henry Somerset was born to Charles Henry Somerset [aged 54] and Mary Paulett.

On 18th February 1831 [his father] Charles Henry Somerset [aged 63] died.

Around 1832 Poulett George Henry Somerset [aged 9] educated at Eton College [Map].

Around 1838 Poulett George Henry Somerset [aged 15] educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst.

In 1839 Poulett George Henry Somerset [aged 16] commissioned as Coldstream Guards.

On 15th April 1847 Poulett George Henry Somerset [aged 24] and Barbara Augusta Norah Mytton [aged 24] were married.

On 20th November 1852 [his daughter] Cecily Mary Caroline Somerset was born to Poulett George Henry Somerset [aged 30] and [his wife] Barbara Augusta Norah Mytton [aged 30]. She died aged ten in 1862.

On 20th December 1854 [his son] Vere Francis John Somerset was born to Poulett George Henry Somerset [aged 32] and [his wife] Barbara Augusta Norah Mytton [aged 32].

In 1859 Poulett George Henry Somerset [aged 36] was elected MP Monmouthshire.

In June 1860 [his mother] Mary Paulett died.

On 23rd August 1860 [his son] Henry Charles FitzRoy Somerset was born to Poulett George Henry Somerset [aged 38] and [his wife] Barbara Augusta Norah Mytton [aged 38].

On 30th December 1862 [his daughter] Cecily Mary Caroline Somerset [aged 10] died.

On 4th June 1870 [his wife] Barbara Augusta Norah Mytton [aged 47] died.

On 10th September 1870 Poulett George Henry Somerset [aged 48] and Emily Moore were married.

In 1871 Poulett George Henry Somerset [aged 48] was appointed Steward of the Chiltern Hundreds.

In 1871 [his daughter] Cecily Emily Paulett Somerset was born to Poulett George Henry Somerset [aged 48] and [his wife] Emily Moore.

On 7th September 1875 Poulett George Henry Somerset [aged 53] died. He was buried at Nave, Bristol Cathedral.
